Rick's sent someone out for an estimate and they showed up when they said they were going to. He listened to our needs, about what had happened and how to prevent it from happening again. The estimate was one of the higher ones however there was justification for everything. The installers, Andy and Sergio, did a great job. Everyone spoke good English so we were able to communicate with them easily. We have a hostile neighbor hence the need for a specific privacy fence. Andy and Sergio were able to notify me that the neighbor was behaving towards them in a hostile manner and we were able to handle the situation. We expect this new fence to handle anything up to an F3 tornado even with the privacy screens.

Wanting to help a local business, I called Handy Hands Construction. He came out and looked at my…read moresprinklers. He was going to come back Monday at 5 PM. I got a call Monday afternoon asking if he could come by Fourth of July at 8 AM. I said oh you're working on a holiday? He said oh yeah. I said, you're not gonna charge me more because of the holiday? He said oh no. So the fourth came. 8 o'clock came nobody showed up. 8:30 came I texted to see if he was going to show up? I heard nothing. So I called him at 9 AM and said are you coming over? You said you'd be here at 8 and now it's 9 o'clock. He said I am on my way. I was pulling weeds in the rocks in my yard before he got here. When he did show up, he started digging a hole and I commented that I had a lot of weeds in my rocks this year and started pulling the weeds while he was digging. He quietly mentioned that he used to work for JD and Sons when he came over to give me a bid. I told him I had had interactions with JD & Sons before moving here. They never showed up. He then loudly said JD and SON! I said yeah, JD and Sons. He again looked over at me and loudly said SON with extra emphasis on the N. Not plural. He then said sarcastically, that's my DAD you're talking about! Oh, then I quickly corrected him and said, "I wasn't saying anything bad about him! I wasn't saying anything bad about him. And I didn't. I turned around and continued to pick at some of the weeds and he filled the hole back up with the dirt, turned around and picked up his bucket and a shovel. He walked away and he said, "you have a nice day" and I said what did I do? I didn't do anything. What did I do? So then he goes online and bashes me and makes up stories. I don't appreciate that, so this is not a business I would ever deal with. Like father like son, his dad walked off the job and refused to do it for no reason (at a house I lived at before I moved to this one) other than he would never call us back or show up and when my ex asked him about it, why he would never call us back, got mad and said I'm not doing the job and said fu** you and walked away. They both had a really bad attitude and that's not the way to do business. He told me he doesn't advertise. He just goes by word of mouth. And this mouth is going to put the word out. Do not use this business. I haven't written a bad review in a long time. I love writing good reviews, but this guy made it impossible.

I did call back later and left a voicemail to let them know I would not be needing a call back to reschedule because I was going with another company and just very disappointed in them. If you cant show up for an estimate who's to say that you wouldnt show up for the install!!
