This location in Orange City, Florida, is no exception! Whether you're looking for home decor, seasonal items, or even clothing, you're sure to find something at a great price. I recently visited and was impressed with the holiday decorations already on display, even before the holidays hit. There were lots of outdoor and indoor Halloween decorations, including fun costumes for dogs and people of all ages--from kids to adults. Some costumes are priced below $10, which is a steal! I also found festive Halloween party dishes, mugs, and other fun items to set the mood. The Christmas decor is also rolling in, so if you spot something you like, I'd recommend grabbing it early. I've learned from experience that waiting too long means the best items can be sold out closer to the holidays. This Ross location is one of the more organized stores I've been to. It's clean, and I appreciate that it's wheelchair-friendly, including the accessible bathrooms. The dressing rooms are also kept clean, and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, ready to help you find what you're looking for. If you're trying to avoid long lines, I'd recommend visiting later in the evening. The lines can get busy between 5 and 6 PM as people stop by after work, but I've found that they move pretty quickly. Also, a neat touch for Florida shoppers: they always seem to have umbrellas for sale near the front of the store in case you get caught in one of our many rainstorms! Overall, this is a great Ross location with plenty of fun seasonal finds. I always leave satisfied and look forward to coming back for more holiday shopping!

If you've ever shopped for mirrors, you know that's a wonderful price for a large mirror. If you have a dogs/dogs make sure to check out the dog toys. Ross always has good, sturdy dog toys at really great prices. They are usually 1/4 of the price you'll find them at Target or any of the pet stores. I have a Standard Poodle who is my service dog, so I always grab a few new toys for him each time I'm in Ross. The only complaint I have is the LONG, LONG line to check out. I shopped for about 15 minutes. I waited in line to check out for nearly 45 minutes. I know this is mainly because people just aren't wanting to work nowadays, so companies are having a difficult time finding people. This is seriously going to start hurting companies more and more if people don't go back to work because I'll come here one more time and if I see the line that long again, then I'll just go home and order a mirror online for $100+ and not waste my time standing in a line. It's a sad day when an American would rather sit on their ass and collect money from the government than get up and get a job. SMH.

My wife took me to Kohl's yesterday to look for some tennis shoes for my birthday. After going to Dick's Sporting Goods and seeing high prices on their shoes she decided to take me to Kohl's. I tried on two pairs one from Nike and one from New Balance both were on sale for approximately the same price, plus she had a $10 coupon. After about a 30 minute mental debate I finally purchased the New Balance. We saw several bargains throughout the store and actually went back in when we found another $5.00 coupon in the parking lot and bought my wife a nice blouse on sale for $6.00 after the coupon and a 15% additional online discount. In conclusion, I observed if you take advantage of the online discounts and coupons you can get great bargains on sale items. It is fairly easy to find assistance in the store if needed.

Cameras everywhere which kind of gave me the "watched" feeling. But in that kind of business selling those kind of products, I would not expect anything less. They have a selection of lingerie for big girls, so that is a definite plus for ladies who do not fit the skinny mold. I thought the majority of prices were pretty average, with some items either much more expensive than average or much less expensive than average. Got what needed! Happy customer here! My only recommendation is to up the stock numbers on women's clothing items. They no longer allow returns, at all, except 3 days on electronics. Thay are doing away with all rooms to try on clothes. I have given thousands of dollars, and yes I mean thousands, to Goodwill Stores, not including my family's purchases. I have spent as much purchasing items there over the years, in PA., OH., IN., and all over FL. I am done, they are not a Thrift Store and I doubt they do much to help people in the community...just greedy! Hopefully, someone else will see how much a large thrift shop, with reasonable prices is needed, and not just here. I like to shop thrift shops because it is better for the environment....

Back then, Goodwill was a good organization. Shamefully, Goodwill is only a thrift store now and does not provide the help and care it claims. A recent investigation by the media went public with facts proving this. Goodwill has grown to become one of the largest thrift stores in the USA and its upper management are paid hundreds of thousands to over a million dollars in salary each year pulling a scam on the charitable goodness of the communities in which it operates.

As you walk through the door, a Starbucks restaurant will greet you, which is convenient and who doesn't love an energy boost while their shopping? Apparently I'm not the only one who feels this way because that Starbucks is always packed but waiting in line is worth it. It could use an upgrade to include a little more space. One of the best things about this Starbucks is that you can put your order on your Target Credit Card! In the same area, there's a little snack station where pizza, pretzels, and drinks (Soda fountain) are served. The store is clean and organized but the staff is slim. It's not very busy, so I can understand the light staffing, but it's difficult to find someone if you ever need help finding a particular item. It's still better than Walmart because once you find someone, they are informative and willing to help. We all know what it's like to try to chase down a Walmart employee. The last thing I was disappointed about was that there is no deli. I was spoiled rotten when I lived in Port Orange, FL. and used that location. Their deli offered many fresh sandwiches, salads, ready-to-cook meals, and staff who would slice cheeses and meats. Don't even get me started on their bakery! This Orange City location doesn't have any of that. Sad face. On the plus side, they recently remodeled and now include a grocery section with frozen foods and pantry foods as well as a small selection of meat and produce. I still love Target but I'm hoping the company will be willing to remodel this location again to include a Deli and Bakery. Oh! and a bigger Starbucks. ;)

I ordered some shoes online for store pickup. After much research they had the best price. It's a…read morelittle out of my way since it's in Deland but it was an easy trip. I had to take away stars because the pickup process was confusing. There are a bunch of large signs saying for pickup orders go to the counter in the shoe department (ironic) but when I went there no employee to be found and a there was a sign saying it wasn't open (but according to their info it should have been). It took me awhile to find an employee to get my order.
