For Mothers' day, I woke up to the shocking news that 1-800-flowers could not deliver flowers that I had paid to be expedited and should have been delivered on May 11th! As you can guess, I was panicking as to how my mom will be shattered when she spends Mother's Day without a single flower on her door. I went on a calling spree, contacting any and all florists in the area, just in case someone will have pity on this irresponsible girl ordering her mom's flowers on the morning of Mother's Day. Like didn't you know this holiday was coming like since last year?
Well, needless to say, whether I had a very good reason to be desperate or not, all the florists I called either didn't pick up or simply rudely (and in a kinda judgy-voice or it was just me guilt tripping) told me that they are not taking Mother's Day orders today.
And luckily I stumbled on this shop. I called and the lady on the other hand sounded enthusiastic and willing to help. She didn't seem to be annoyed by the fact that I am making an urgent order on Mother's Day morning, as if I just found out or demanding the outmost expedited service as if my mom is the most important mom in the entire world (I mean to me she is). She actually seemed to really care about helping me. First she made me feel at ease, like gurl, I got you. Then she made me feel like she genuinely wanted my mom to have the best Mother's Day. She gave me recommendations on things to add and how to make the bouquet prettier. She also seemed to care about my wallet (though honestly, considering my level of desperation, I was willing to shell out my entire net worth--not big but you get the idea).
Anyways, long story short, this is my first review ever and I did it because I don't know how else to say THANK YOU to the lady who helped me this morning. Otherwise, I need to hop on this call with my mom, she has been calling me nonstop to talk about the bouquet and how happy she is today!!! read more
