I paid for an hour massage. My appointment was at 4, I was not called back until 4:15. The air conditioning was broken. By the time I was called back amd discussed with the masseuse and then got on the table it was 4:25. Then the masseuse had to walk in and out of the room 3 times for things she forgot. I completely understand that we all forget things but by the time my massage started it was 4:30. I was done and dressed with my massage by 5:02. I was charged for an hour but only received a 30 mins massage which in fact felt rushed. The lady who checked me out was very kind and offered a free "day pass" coupon for the late start, but the pass is for treatments I won't even use and that does not excuse the little time spent on my massage. read more

I had gone to a nail salon and the massage was fine but didn't work. Kevin has education into how the muscles work and that is everything! He massaged certain side muscles that were causing pain elsewhere in my body that a spa massage therapist or nail salon worker would not have known about. I feel loads better! I've been going here for years now. I'm a member and get a 1 hour massage every month. The price is great and there are no strings attached to a membership - you can cancel whenever. I like "making" myself get a massage monthly though. My favorite massage therapist is Cydney. She's tiny but strong and always leaves me feeling much better. Because I work on a computer I often get neck and shoulder pain and my legs get stiff; this helps reduce it considerably. Also, when I sprained my ankle from working out, Cydney gave me tips to help with swelling and pain. The people here are very genuine and skilled, and it's also a clean and comfortable environment. Worst massage I've ever had and the most unprofessional therapist I've ever experienced. I woke up with horrible neck and back pain this morning from going to the trampoline park with my son yesterday and desperately needed some relief so I called several places to see if I could get a same day appointment. I had never been here before but the reviews seemed pretty good so I had no hesitations... Never in my life did I have a massage therapist talk the entire time! Not only was she talking the whole time but she was gossiping and talking shit about her co-workers! She told me she was upset that she had to work another hour because her coworker called off sick and she knew it was because she was probably hungover. As she was massaging my back she told me "oh you have a small frame I don't even need to move to the other side I can just get it all sitting from right here!" The quality of the massage was half assed. I didn't even tell her to do my whole body just my neck and back but somehow in that hr she didn't even spend time on my neck and she couldn't remember if she did one of my arms yet because she was so busy talking. All of the massages have been worth the price. 3. And , one massage about a year ago was not so good (kinda wimpy), but I've been doing this for long I knew that my therapist was a rookie. No biggie. A few things to consider: (a) SKPT has some younger therapist but keep in mind their prices. Many therapist are charging $120...$150 or more....plus tip...and want to chant New Age prayers over you with a sedated frog! (Just rub my back lady!) (b) And no matter where you go, sooner or later, you will get a less than perfect massage. (c) SO SPEAK UP: Tell the therapist what you want. If they're talking too much, tell them you're going to fall asleep now. And If the pressure it too much or too little, speak up! That's your responsibility people - not theirs. Most of my massage was spent listening to the owner, Jeff, and an employee argue about her paycheck. It was so inappropriate and distributive to the spa environment. Then, because I had been there before with a gift certificate, I was not allowed to use my Groupon. I would have been purchasing 3 months of the membership, so for difference of $10 they chose not to honor it. I think they at least lost $160 if not more from me with the membership in the next 3 months. Not very smart for them, huh? Called to set up an appointment. Simply asked if the staff wear mask or if vaccinated. Was told that they don't require staff to be vaccinated nor do they ask if the staff is, which is totally okay! I'm all for medical freedoms and your right to choose if you want to receive the vaccine. I still would have made an appt regardless of that situation!I then asked if staff will wear a mask during the massage, considering my career, I take care of medically fragile people. I was told "it's up to the therapist but I'm sure they will if you request ". Okay, awesome! It was the way it was said though that was displeasing. The guy came off pretty sarcastic and made the comment " it's the hospitals that kill people" not to sure why he made that comment. I normally have a private therapist come to my house but unfortunately she is busy this weekend. The person answering your phone sounds highly uneducated regarding health and safety. His demeanor was very off putting. Then at the end of the call he said "well we don't have anything available anyways today we are booked". This really made me feel as if he said that only because I asked about vaccines and mask. Pretty off putting in my opinion.
