Plenty of parking here. Entrance is easy to see and handicap accessible. Kelley's station is the first, closest to the door. They have a small sitting area where you can find refreshments while you wait. Bathroom is right there as well. Multiple booths for stylists and at the back is the nail technician section. Many colors and styles of nail paints are available. Two sinks for washing or rinsing of hair. One stylist does extensions of every color and length you could want. Hours are good for me since I live/work in Portland. I will continue to support Miss Kelley for as long as she will have me. Thank you for taking such good care of me

The salon has a wonderful vibe and esthetic for young women to discover their style and explore different hairstyles. The people who work there are friendly and welcoming. They pay attention to each customer's specific needs, making sure to care for them in a way that feels comfortable and easy so they can be themselves. Every time my daughter has an appointment she leaves feeling so good about herself, and is so happy - this is a such a gift! The appointment scheduling is easy, and they do text appointment reminders and confirmations, and it is easy to reschedule if needed. The prices are the average of what one would pay anywhere for hair services...they definitely are not more expensive than other places. The only slightly negative thing is they do seem to recommend a lot of hair products...and at our last visit...they recommended $150 worth of products...and one product...a small bottle of some kind of styling gel was $53 by itself. This seems a bit excessive. When I declined to purchase, there was no attitude or pressure to reconsider....Thank goodness!

The salon is Covid compliant with Maine CDC recommendations. I was greeted immediately by Kelley in her mask and escorted to her chair where we talked about what I would like to do before we started. With an agreed upon plan she went to mix my colors. While she weaves her magic, Kelley does highlights to PERFECTION! She gets to the root of the hair making the color last way longer then other hairstylists i have been too, we chatted about this and that. Kelley take an interest in you and really listens to what you are saying. When the color was done processing we went back to the chair and the cutting commenced. I wear bangs and do not like them to be over textured, Kelley knows this about me and cuts them neat and tidy. Another great cut and highlight with some low lights thrown in.

Very disappointed with my cut I received a few months ago. I had been growing my hair for some time…read moreas I did not have a regular hair stylist. I came looking to cut off a decent amount, getting a tapered style, longer in the front. I showed photos of a style I liked which was below shoulders. The cut I received was subpar at best unfortunately. It ended up being one length with two pieces in the front being the long pieces, instead of the gradual taper I expressed I wanted. I wanted some light layering and have thick hair, I was informed to prevent getting poofy hair while it dries with layers she needed to thin (?) my hair. Well now when it dries I look like a troll doll, as whatever she did made it extremely poofy. After being home and washing and running my fingers through my hair I found a few areas where I had decent sized pieces that weren't cut to length with the rest and were an inch or two longer than everything around it, and it was very obvious it wasn't supposed to be like this. I had to take scissors to these pieces so they would actually be the same length as my longest layer as they were were below the longest layer. I feel like I spent a good amount of money to leave with hair that got cut MUCH shorter than I expressed, puffy, and sloppy.

On the day of her first appointment she ran over a large screw in the parking lot which resulted in her tire being punctured. Unfortunately it was too close to the outside edge of the tire to be patched and since her car is an AWD vehicle she had to buy 4 new tires at a cost of $900. The owner of this shop had a very poor attitude about the situation and was not the least bit apologetic so my advice to people looking for a hair salon in Windham is not to go to this shop
