I attended the First Aid course in Kings Cross this week..it was very good. The venue was easy to find and very near the station. The facilities were great, plenty of tea and coffee and microwave ovens for us to heat up food. There is a lovely waiting area for before the course started. Piers, our instructor, was welcoming and friendly, but he kept us on track! We covered a few more topics than on some basic courses I have been on and they helped to make the course more relevant to me. He assessed us throughout the day on our practical skills and also with Q & A sessions. I thought that the course materials and manikins were very good, there were plenty of them, and the way it was delivered was practical and fun. I recently completed the Emergency First Aid course with Simply First Aid at my school in Hertfordshire. My experience was very positive. I really enjoyed the very hands-on approach which made the experience generally more exciting and memorable. My instructor was great and had excellent communication skills, ensuring that everyone was well informed and confident in what they were doing. I also liked the element of surprise in how he would perform spontaneous acts of crisis (such as having a seizure) which prompted us to put our newly learned skills into practice. read more

I needed a BLS ticket as I am going to New Zealand for a 2 year project The GMC needed me to provide evidence of recent training so I called Simply First Aid..they did not have anything running that I could join, but to my suprise they were able to come to me. Piers comprehensively covered all aspects of Basic Life Support and the course contained a lot more than I expected. I am very grateful for a well run course.
