Reflect On Academy (ROA)? offers affordable counselling services and diploma training courses that can significantly enhance your skills and knowledge. The counselling training and services are for individuals seeking professional or personal growth, a way to advance their career, or simply someone to talk to. The ROA Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy is a comprehensive training programme that meets the BACP requirements.
The level 5 counselling diploma provides learners with extensive knowledge and practice skills in professional counselling. It aims to encourage scholarship in counselling, develop professional skills, and recognise the counsellor as a person within counselling.
Graduates will have career opportunities to work with individuals, groups, and communities in various fields and circumstances, such as domestic violence, the NHS, trauma, abuse, drugs and alcohol, relationships, grief & loss issues. ROA graduates are on the BACP national register.
The other courses we offer are, for example, the Advanced Certificate in Counselling and Expressive Arts. Level 7 diplomas (clinical supervision, couples, a higher diploma in applied creative arts). History
Established in 2008.
Reflect on Academy (ROA) is inspired by a vision of an empowered society united by confidence and self-awareness within oneself, family relationships and the wider community. Founded in 2008 by Jenny McClymont, ROA started by offering CPD conferences, seminars and workshops. In 2011 ROS received validation to provide training in the diploma of psychotherapeutic counselling.
Our course was developed from the ground up using cutting-edge counselling philosophy and research with teaching by highly experienced psychotherapists and counsellors.
ROA contributes significantly to fulfilling our vision by empowering our learners to grow themselves and positively impact the lives of others. We play a critical role within our communities and society at large. We are dedicated to training and developing knowledgeable, skilled, and ethical practitioners by providing high-quality educational programmes and qualifications.
Meet the Business Owner: Jenny M.
Jenny is passionate about offering counselling and psychotherapy because I believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. I have seen firsthand the positive impact that therapy can have on individuals and families. It is a privilege to be able to help people work through their struggles and overcome the obstacles that have been holding them back.
In addition to providing counselling and therapy services, I am also passionate about training people to become counsellors. I believe that there is a great need for more trained professionals in this field, and I take pride in helping others develop the skills and knowledge they need to make a difference in the lives of others. By sharing my experience and expertise, I hope to inspire others to pursue a career in counselling and psychotherapy and to contribute to the mental health and wellbeing of our communities.
