My wedding was in San Diego on a Saturday, and Tricia delivered the flowers on Friday morning to a family member in the OC. Not only did the flowers last until the next day, I got exactly what I wanted from Tricia but at a fraction of the price from other florists. Make sure the flowers stay in water and in a cool place. We were lucky that the hotel I was staying in allowed us to use their large kitchen fridge. Just make sure there aren't any fruits in the fridge; they emit a gas, which will wilt the flowers. Seriously just hire them When doing our initial wedding planner search, we were trying to find the team that best understood our vision, budget, and meshed with us the best. When we told Amy about our vision to have a baseball themed wedding, with a separate opening day ceremony the evening before, her response was, "hell yea!" and then she proceeded to tell us about her family's love of baseball and additional rental items her team could provide to help us achieve this vision. Her prices were significantly more affordable than other local planners we interviewed. It was important to us that we make our event kid-friendly, and she had lots of tips, tricks, and solutions on how we could do that without breaking the bank. Amy and her team helped us search for venues, play around with decoration themes, booked dress appointments for us, shared vendor contacts, built the cross and arch displayed at the ceremony, and coordinated with everyone who would be a part of our wedding so we had less of that burden. I wouldn't say that my now husband and I were the "bridezilla-couple-from-hell" type but boy did we take forever to respond to a message and only to then reply back with 50 more questions. Amy and her team rolled with us and learned how to keep us on track with deadlines. My friend told me she saw my dad trying to carry two huge centerpieces, and refused her help because he wanted to carry it on his own! All of my wedding guests ran towards all of the floral when it was announced that they could take it home. My friends and family told me how they couldn't believe how gorgeous and lush my sweetheart table was, and absolutely loved it. Also, my husband surprised me when he told me how beautiful our wedding cake florals were. When a guy compliments florals for a cake, now that means something! My wedding was a dream.
