Mary Elizabeth Ouellette was fabulous! She told me they were just about to close, so not to rush in, but she would happily take my order over the phone. I ordered 7 long stem white roses, and one red. I told her they were to be placed on the casket and the white represented the grandchildren and daughter, and the red was for my grandmother. Mary Elizabeth said this was not a problem and told me they would be gorgeous. I informed her that I would need to pick them up Tuesday right at 9 a.m. otherwise I would be late to the funeral. She assured me this was not problem. On Monday - I called to see if I could add one rose for my cousin - this was not a problem, and Mary Elizabeth gave her condolences for my loss and again confirmed tomorrow at 9 a.m. On Tuesday I arrived at Mother Nature's Florist at 8:40 a.m. and figured I would just wait until 9 when they opened. Much to my surprised pleasure, the shop had the OPEN sign on the door! I went in, and Mary Elizabeth was very pleasant. She said she was hoping I'd come early, and she wanted to make sure I wasn't late...anything to make a difficult day a little easier! WOW Mary Elizabeth then showed me the rose for my grandmother - she added a beautiful ribbon with the word "husband" to the rose and told me she did something special for my grandmother at no extra cost. How wonderfully touching and sweet. The flowers were gorgeous, and reasonably priced. The service was 5 star - my order was small compared to weddings and such, but the treatment was the very best. I also ordered a separate Easter arrangement at the same time as the others as a gift also done by Semia from the White Flower Farm website with stunning flowers and striking colors of red, crimson and other beautiful colors /flowers and what arrived yesterday as a gift was a very underwhelming bunch of flowers in a very bland color palette of greens, whites and yellow that I would never put together for myself let alone give as a gift to others. The next arrangement of flowers that is supposed to arrive at my mom's doorstep is a beautiful array of stunning irises. I have no confidence that those flowers will show up as advertised or promised. I love flowers and I love growing them and arranging them as gifts. When I saw Semia's beautiful arrangements in the WFF catalogue they spoke to me as if it were something I would have picked from my own garden and arranged to give to someone I love who I cannot see during these difficult times. Our wedding was canceled due to the pandemic, but a few days before the intended date we learned we could be married anyways - Semia provided a bridal bouquet and boutonniere that were beyond our wildest hopes, and gave some extra flowers that I was able to put in my hair to complete the look.
