Mr. Muñoz took the picture. Gave me a hard copy and had me wait until the email was in my inbox - all within about 15 minutes. The family has been in the photo business for four generations! Had we been aware of this, we would have booked our session for a later date as Covid has caused us to be under-employed and finances are tight. We explained this but it fell upon deaf ears. One would have thought that as a local business that they would extend the offer by a week or two. It would also be good practice to inform your clientele what will be happening during their visit with you. Our experience was more of a come here, sit there, go there. We had no idea what was coming next. It should also not be assumed that a client knows exactly what shot is being used in a yearbook. Explaining which shots are being used would have been really helpful and made the encounter less contentious. And, when your sales rep pulls up a picture and starts gushing over how beautiful your child is, please actually pull up the picture of my child, the actual child in the room with you, and not someone else's child. We were simply a number to them. The photographer was wonderful and captured beautiful shots. While it was not a pleasant experience (except with the photographer), we are hopeful that the pictures will be good. I hope that they make changes to improve the customer experience.

When it comes time to renew your passport, you'd figure our close neighbors from the north would just use the same photo standards we use in this country. Noooo that would be too simple, they have an abnormal shape, and not really realizing this I sent in pictures, they were denied due to much shadowing. I then got another picture taken, which they shared with me wasn't the right size. Finally I found a professional, and when I walked in and said I needed canadaian passport photos with directions they didn't even need to look at them. They already knew, and using professional cameras and photo rooms I had awesome and clear pictures in just a few minutes. In fact the pictures were around the same price or less than a CVS/Walgreens and looked way better. Awesome place, get your passport photos done once, and the right way here.

After over a year of trying to recoup our losses, this is our only option left - My wife and I had…read morean original wedding date on 5/16/20. We had hired a photographer (@santymartinezphotography on Instagram)in the fall of 2019 and kept making monthly payments to him. By the time it got to April, we were basically paid in full (around $3K). Then, events got postponed bc of Covid and we had to push our wedding to 11/21/20 because it was a date that worked for us and our family. He then advised he was not available on that date, gave us some other dates to select from, but it was OUR wedding and we wanted to do it on a date that worked for us, not our photographer. So we then started the process of trying to get the thousands we paid him, back. He said it was in the agreement that he keep ALL of our money despite the fact that Covid cancelled all events so he wouldn't have been able to work on our original wedding date anyway, for anyone. We have since hired an attorney, however after several unsuccessful attempts to collect monies owed to us due to unjust enrichment and civil theft, he continues to remain unresponsive to any efforts - we even offered he keep the deposit and nothing. He is an unethical photographer chasing a buck rather than doing the right thing. So I want to make sure future clients don't fall for his trap.

One person that made my life easier during this time was Paul from Orange Candy. He met us at our venue, not once but twice in advance to discuss shots. He was open to my suggestions and responded to my constant emails about shots I saw on Pinterest and wanted to emulate. Day of the wedding he was super professional, showing up to my hotel room early and relaxing me with his joking nature and calmness. He took beautiful shots of me getting ready which I will treasure forever. Since we did not see the need for a limo to go 30 blocks from the hotel to the venue, Paul drove me to my wedding! What more can you ask for in a wedding photographer?! During the wedding he let me be the boss and was hands-off and let me tell him what I wanted pictures of (lots of dancing and partying). After the wedding he delivered exactly what he promised, images of my wedding edited and burned onto DVD's in a timely fashion. If I had to do it all over again there are some things I would change (my florist and event planner) but my photographer would definitely be Paul!!!
