Moreover, there was carpet everywhere. I hate carpet, especially in bathrooms. I spoke with my realtor and he recommended I reach out to T&D interiors. I drove into T&D interiors, my first trip to Lima, OH. I spoke with Joel, and we went over our options. I originally was going to get tile... I love tile floors. There was a problem, though, tile is cold. Ohio is frigid. Yeah that wouldn't have worked because heated tile is a bit too expensive for my budget. I don't like hardwood floors because it's easily damaged/scratched and needs a lot of maintenance. I was looking at just simple vinyl floor when he recommends luxury vinyl plank. It's scratch resistant and water proof. Sold! He showed me different colors and styles and I picked one that was grayish brown in color. Had him do my entire house. It wasn't cheap, but the end it looks amazing! I love my new floors. They originally gave me an estimate of 10 days to perform the labor, they did it in 7. Awesome! All of the lights had chips and gaps around them. Had to buy goof rings to cover up all the mistakes. Finally admitted that he'd never worked on tile before. Only sheetrock. My house is NOT for you to practice with. The curtain rods I had him replace were slightly lopsided since he didn't use a leveler. I had him install a light fixture. He forgot to add the glass plate that covers the light. He came back to install but it's crooked. Not every handyman does good work.
