When you visit "antique" stores in…read moreSD, it's mainly junk or toys from the 80s that, to me, can hardly be considered an antique. Old? Sure. Antique? Uh...no. I remember visiting this place as a kid and thinking it was pretty cool, so I figured it should be on our To Do list while here. This place is pretty decently-sized, so you could probably spend an hour in here if you were thorough. The first floor has the good stuff: antique furniture, old quilts and window panes, old medicine bottles...the list goes on and on. The second floor has some "ok" stuff, but it's what I'd classify more as junk: old books, VHS tapes, etc. It just depends what you're looking for. The people that work here are pretty friendly, and most items seem to be reasonably priced. We purchased a coffee table that was originally $200 and marked down to $50. I plan to sand it and will either stain or paint it. We didn't have the ability to transport it at the time of purchase, so they held it for us and we picked it up a couple days later. If you're looking for antiques, check out the first floor. They also sell a variety of whole bean coffees, so be sure to grab a bag if you're in need of a caffeine fix!

Skip the upstairs section though as it's mostly cast offs that don't deserve to be on the bottom floor. No public restrooms available.

I believe there is something there for everyone. I will have to say if someone is in a wheelchair it might not be easy to get through the store. I actually don't think it would be possible.
