The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and it seemed like a nice family run business. There is limited street parking unless I missed a parking lot in the area. Regardless, this a great place to purchase quilting supplies.

Wow! Way more than I expected from a small town quilt shop! They have EVERYTHING for the quilter!…read moreAs a novice, I especially appreciated Sharon's help and tour of the store!! They have quilts using their products on display, they have "row" projects and license plate kits... so much! The store even has a self quilting machine.. and it's amazing! You can pick a design and there is a laser pointer pattern you can follow to quilt your design. Located on Route 66, they have plenty of "Route 66" and western themed fabrics. They offer classes too!! You must check it out! I arrived with sons and hubby .. and just FYI, there was a super cool museum just a block away that they enjoyed while I picked up my goodies!

I remember visiting this place as a kid and thinking it was pretty cool, so I figured it should be on our To Do list while here. This place is pretty decently-sized, so you could probably spend an hour in here if you were thorough. The first floor has the good stuff: antique furniture, old quilts and window panes, old medicine bottles...the list goes on and on. The second floor has some "ok" stuff, but it's what I'd classify more as junk: old books, VHS tapes, etc. It just depends what you're looking for. The people that work here are pretty friendly, and most items seem to be reasonably priced. We purchased a coffee table that was originally $200 and marked down to $50. I plan to sand it and will either stain or paint it. We didn't have the ability to transport it at the time of purchase, so they held it for us and we picked it up a couple days later. If you're looking for antiques, check out the first floor. They also sell a variety of whole bean coffees, so be sure to grab a bag if you're in need of a caffeine fix!
