UPDATE: the suit got there 2 days before the wedding, pants too short, it's fine she fixed it in time. Fast forward to my wedding day, I pick up the dress the morning before and followed her instructions, to my surprise the next day when I put it on for my wedding, THERE WAS A BROKEN CLASP! She only reinforced ONE button and she was supposed to fix them all. Due to her not doing that, a button actually broke right after the ceremony and I had to wear my new husband's suit coat the rest of the night. It was embarrassing and I'm super disappointed and FURIOUS. When I told her about it, she simply made and excuse on the clasp and never responded about the button... So far my experience here has been an absolute nightmare. First it was great. I chose my dress and asked her about alterations to BEFORE I bought it to make sure she is able to do it. She said YES with 100% surety. So I bought it. She rescheduled the appointment three different times then lied to my mother claiming it was me and that I "forgot". I have text evidence I had to show my mom to prove SHE rescheduled and lied. Oh well, I finally went to the first fitting after it was altered, straps weren't at all what I told her. After weeks of fighting her to do what I originally wanted. She did it. Never once did she let me know my dress was done. I had to text her and then she finally let me know. AND THEN, my fiancé and I go in to rent a tuxedo because we can't find tan/khaki ANYWHERE. She first told my mom 5-7 days and she will have the suit. I was like great we will come on tomorrow to get him fitted. We did, she told us the same thing, 5-7 days. Well a week goes by and no suit, she was now saying "oh no it'll be the weekend before the wedding...I was pissed but no biggie. Well, it's now 4 DAYS till the wedding and NO SUIT still. I'm beyond stressed and upset and she's actually ignoring my texts!! She's lied to us on multiple occasions and gives my mother more respect and response then ME! IM THE BRIDE, IM THE BOSS! The shop is well designed and stocked with a wide variety of bridal and special event clothes. We had no trouble finding what we wanted in a cataloge. There was a lot of problem getting communication AFTER we order the dress as they don't have voice mail and don't answer the phone during regular business hours. The owner said she calls, but I've only received a voice mail even when I am holding the phone at the same time the VM was recorded. I even called my phone provider thinking it was a problem with my phone-there was not. The dress was late on delivery and we had to make a mid week adjustment to our schedule to fit picking the dress up. My daughter had to go alone and didn't know what questions to ask. When we got the dress home, I started examining it. It looked used. The ties in the back were frayed, the pockets inside were ripped and although it was clean, it looked worn or the material was not crisp like a new dress would look. Additionally, She made an alteration that after trying the dress on 1 time, ripped and I had to safety pin it. We also discovered the consequences of her measurements taken over her clothes-the dress was loose. The dress protector didn't look professional-it looked like it came from the dry cleaners. Lisa was polite, but I didn't get the service I felt i paid for. I should have ordered a dress of Amazon as the extra cost of the dress I thought should get better personalized service. I was ok with the dress, but disappointed. I will plan earlier and drive to the valley or order off an online store . read more

So I just kind of had a... sad experience. I've been so anxious to try on wedding dresses (yes, I know it's a little early) but I've been dying too. So my friend Desire went with me to The Bridal Fair here in Show Low to help me try on dresses. We walk in the door and it's a few minutes before we are acknowledged which is fine because the owner was the only one working and there was a bride with her family that she was helping. So Desire and I stood there and waited. Then the owner came up and asked what we needed, Desire replied that we were there to look at dresses. The owner asked if we were there for wedding dresses or prom dresses and Desire said wedding dresses. Then the woman proceeds with "is this your mom?" (Mind you desire and I are the same age and she definitely doesn't look old enough to be my mother) I answered and said no this is my friend. She asks "is there a mom up here?" And I say no not really. (I didn't want to tell her that my mom had passed away and start crying because it's already hard enough for me going without her) and after I say no she says ok then walks away. We browse through the dresses, we aren't acknowledged or asked if we needed help. So when she was bouncing a baby around, not tending to another bride, Desire asks if I could get sized and the lady says "you don't get sized, all dresses are different. You can look online to get a better idea" (how were we supposed to know you don't get sized for wedding dresses?) My mother-in-law shows up (thank goodness) the woman then showed us a little bit of attention. Then tends to the other bride. We stood there waiting for about 10 minutes wanting to ask if we could get me in the room to try it on. She says the room is being used and I could go in after she's done. My mother-in-law had to leave, then I finally get to go back and I came out in this beautiful dress and she totally helped me out with just this one by putting on accessories. She says that I'm shopping way too early and the only good thing about shopping too early is I get to pay my dress off longer and said the dress I like probably won't be in the shop when I'm actually serious about dress shopping. I said that I am serious about it. Then I try on another one, I kind of have her attention and she helps when we asked for a few things. I had asked if brides try on lots of different dresses too and she answered condescendingly "no but some." I could tell she was irritated about something and I tried being extra polite. So I tried on a third and came out. Her boyfriend shows up with food and asks if she has time for lunch and she says absolutely! And gets up and goes to the back with him. So that's when I completely lost her attention, I wanted to try on a dress that was on a mannequin and she had told Desire that she would get it for us. So we were waiting in the room for about 10 min and Desire says screw it I'll get it. So she does and we put it on. I really liked it as well and wanted to see it with a head band on or something cute. But the lady was no where to be found. And there was one more dress I wanted to try on and the lady came out and said "are you ladies almost done because I have other work to do" seriously?? It was 12 and they close at 3. Why do I get treated with disrespect but the other bride got 100% of her attention and was being so nice to them? It was just all upsetting to me with how rude she was, like it's not hard enough for me emotionally, and I feel like she was like that towards me because I didn't have family with me so I think she assumed no one was there to pay for the dress. Little did she know I'm paying for my own dress. Such a disappointment because the dresses I tried on are beautiful and the owner was rude and disrespectful. So unless you have family going in with you, don't bother going because you won't be taken seriously and if you're being inconvenient for her, you will know. Such a great thing to remember when I tried on my first dress!! Thank you if you read this super long post. I normally don't publicly complain about things, but this just upset me so much. read more

Had an amazing experience from beginning to end. Went to visit my mother with no intention of looking for a dress. Saw this cute place and decided to stop for a quick look. I did the whole Davids Bridal thing and hated it. Lisa welcomed us and wasn't pushy. I tried on everything I wanted without hassle. Found my dream dress! She held the dress for and we planned a day for me to come back for alterations. She knew that I lived almost 4 hours away so she planned on doing my alterations the same day that I came down and working through the night. She did just that! She made me feel so welcome as we hung out at her shop all day long. She seems to know everyone in the town as she's born and raised there. She has amazing relationships with the people. She also helped me make my own veil for my wedding when she found out I couldn't afford to buy one. Will recommend bridal fair to anyone getting married! read more
