I contacted Sam's Landscaping for an estimate, and was impressed with their prompt response. Not only did they provide a comprehensive quote on the same day, but the pricing was competitive--many of their competitors took weeks just to send their proposals. The team arrived on the scheduled date and time, as promised, and completed the work with great professionalism. Sam's team installed new sod, river rock, and a fully upgraded sprinkler system. The results were outstanding, and I couldn't be more pleased with the transformation. Based on my positive experience, I will definitely be having them work on my backyard as well. I highly recommend Sam's Landscaping to anyone in need of a reliable and affordable landscaping service

He is not only reasonable, but honest and very caring for our yard loves what he is doing. It shows for sure. He planted everything around my house as there was nothing when we moved in. The shrubs, gravel, plants, trees..... Jonathan goes above and beyond. He climbs on my roof and blows all pine needles off and cleans up after. As long as I live he will be coming twice a month as he has been and he is almost part of the family. Jonathan, keep up the great work and hope that many more people will call you to see what true passion in yardwork for a great price really is. Thank you and your crew for caring and being such perfect landscapers.

I used Jonathan's services a few years ago and my yard looks worse than ever before. He was very…read moreattentive during the project and stopped by to check on it a few times. Did a great job removing the hydrangeas. I needed three strips of grass re-planted, some large hydrangeas removed and about 5 ft of fence built with a gate. My lawn looked good for one year maybe....and then back to the way it was before Jonathan started. I tried to reach him several times leaving messages with his receptionist and sending emails but never recieved an email response or a call back. My gate is falling apart and I will say this, I shouldn't have had him build it as he had to talk to friends to find out how to do it. And of course now it's all falling apart, was built with the cheapest wood and would have used tiny hinges had I not noticed and went to buy the ones you actual need on a gate. Nice guy but I WASTED a lot of money to have this be the end result.

Nick and his crew from Avid were with us for five-plus days, chipping, grinding stumps, fishing widow-makers out of the treetops, lightening crowns of the oldest trees to lessen wind resistance, thinning out dead and unhealthy trees, cutting the downed wood into firewood-size chunks for us. And all the while they were cheerful, considerate, a pleasure to have around, showed up when they said they would, did what they said they were going to, and every day made sure before they left that we were happy with what they'd gotten done. If only all businesses operated the way Avid does. Nick and his team earned every compliment I can give them and are really nice people to boot.

Even though this was not a big job, he treated it seriously. The main task was to prune 2 ornamental plums (older than 10 yrs), esp to trim branches away from overhead wires and clean up the inside branches a bit. I had my own ideas of what was needed. John talked me through it & made well-informed suggestions about shaping the trees over time. We quickly came to an agreed plan. I then asked him to add on 2 single tasks: removal of a dead tree next to a privacy fence, and sucker pruning for an elder apple tree. His technical knowledge about plant species, their growth habits and use in landscaping helped a lot. Although I don't know a lot about ornamentals and landscaping, I do have degrees in plant science and horticulture. I recognized his technical expertise, and was glad he was able to talk with me so easily. On the business side, John gave me a written estimate at the end of his first assessment visit. For the actual work, John came at the time promised and finished the work - including clean up - in half a day. The charges were well within the estimate. No muss, no fuss. I highly recommend Mossback Arboriculture, and would call them for help again. I wish I had taken before and after photos to share!
