I happened to get there one afternoon when a shipment had arrived and the lady let me come to the back and pick out which Flowers I wanted for my Mother when she passed away. Very reasonable price for what she made up for me. I would recommend Rare Earth to anyone for any occasion. People were so nice to me. I tried calling immediately but they had already closed and there was no way to leave a message. I had to look them up on facebook and leave a message there and wait 13 hours before I received an answer that I would get a phone called within 2 hours. So, I still don't know if my problem is solved. They need an answering system for after hours and they need to answer messages faster on FB especially if an order is from several states away. I'm still waiting for a phone call to see if they will fix it. So just really review everything before you hit the confirm order button.

I paid almost $200 for a funeral spray that looked like it was put together at the last minute by some children. I would have done better buying a plant at Kroger and presenting it to the Family. I would advise anyone shopping for flowers to go to The Flower Shoppe. My Aunt bought her $200 funeral spray from them and it stood right next to my Tullahoma house of flower spray and put it to shame. I have never been more disappointed in my life. To spend that type of money on something that will die in a couple of days and to get no joy or fulfillment from it is devastating. It's like walking into the store and giving away your hard earned money! Please be aware!

Then Tuesday rolled around, and no flowers. No phone call either letting me know. I called Monday, but knew they were closed - but was surprised there was no voicemail. So I called on Tuesday, told Taylor they were never delivered, and was interrupted to say the irises didn't come in until today. I started to ask why I wasn't called and we missed my mother's bday, and was interrupted again and said I'd be reimbursed and hung up on. I called two more times, and no answer. They also need to have an answering machine and provide better customer service. So disappointed - not even an apology for the delay, and then screening my call.

I always quarantine new plants and inspect upon purchase, but ended up throwing away the last two in fear of them spreading. I was talking to another houseplant friend this week and she also said the last two house plants she got here came with spider mites, as well-- hers even spread to other plants because she didn't throw them out. Maybe it's because their house plant greenhouse is open to the outside? Maybe just bad luck recently? I'd stick to buying flowers, produce, and seasonal goods here.
