Photo attached, taken on July 4th, the day after. My hair was fried from HOURS in bleach. The color was inconsistent. I ended up crying on the floor of Target to buy bleach just so I could have something that looked close to normal. I had to chop off 6 inches of hair and give myself bangs because of the sheer volume of fried hair. It is several months later and I have spent close to $2500 trying to fix my hair. The ends are still crispy and break off and my hair is barely chin length. Of note, he barely wore a mask the entire time. He also left bleach in my hair while he went into the hallway to argue with a girl who took a photo of him doing hair without a mask. He also commented on my husband who is of Chinese descent something to the effect of "I love Asian men! They are like f*cking a dolphin because they are so smooth!" He also kept sneaking in the back to take shots of vodka so pretty sure he wasn't sober most of the time. These are just the highlights of the experience. Suffice it to say, I will not be going back and I would not recommend this business to anyone I want to remain friends with.

At the time we spoke, she stated that other people had inquired about my date, but something should work (even going as far as to say that people with my wedding planner got some sort of preference). The phone call ended with her saying she would send me a proposal that evening. When the proposal did not come, I followed up one week later and received no response. Two weeks later, I received an email from Cassie saying that after our phone call she realized that she could not put together a team for me, followed by some boilerplate rhetoric about how she wants only people she knows that can fit my wedding needs to help me. This email honestly came too late. If there was any issue with availability that needs to be immediately communicated. The wedding industry can be complex and stressful. Especially, when it comes to ensuring availability of the vendors you want. Waiting this long to express an availability issue put me at a disadvantage for reaching out to other vendors (I have done so but after speaking with Candelaria they were my top pick and I wanted to wait for a proposal). This all comes after I expressed to Candelaria that scheduling makeup was my biggest wedding stressor. After this experience, their concern for their customers and interest in their "special day" rings hollow. From other reviews, this seems to be a common theme. This practice is unprofessional and hurts people. They seem really nice and like they are talented makeup artists. However, they need to work on their communication and transparency instead of stringing prospective clients along.

I was so wrong. This is the worst I've ever had. My hair was a little bit on the darker side, and I wanted it to be lighter. she told me that she couldn't do highlights because my hair was too dark and that she would have to reach out the previous color. The bleach sat in my hair for over 1.5 hours. It lightened up some, but was not a lot. She told me my hair was dry and that she was concerned about damaging it. I told her that that's fine and that we don't have to lighten it a lot. She proceeded to foil it and put more bleach in my hair for highlights. this time the bleach sat in my hair for another hour. The file was taken out and the highlights looked pretty blonde. She had another stylist work on my hair at this point, and she put toner in. The toner sat too long, and after washing it, it looked like I had no highlights at all. They proceeded to blow dry my hair and my hair was so dry and damaged that each time they ran the brush through , I could feel hair being ripped out of my scalp. The ends were so ratted it looked burnt. She told me it was going to be OK since most of it will be cut off by the style that I wanted. The haircut looked nothing like the picture that I showed her and she cut off way more than I wanted. And I told her that I had no more highlights in my hair. So she told me she was going to fix it, and she brought me over to the sink and stripped the color from my hair.. So by this point, my hair has been processed a total of three times. And after all the cutting to get to healthy ends by stripping the color the last time it did further damage to end and so she had to cut it even more. I was about to cry when I saw myself in the mirror. All of this cost me $220. Think twice before coming here. You can see from my photos might before and after. And also see the damage to the ends of my hair. My hair was halfway down my back and now in order to get rid of all the damage ends I have had to get it cut up to a Bob above my shoulder and let my hair grow out again.
