The groupon advertised 6 sessions for $349, stating it was a great value because the price was normally $890. Well, that's a lie. At my first visit with SlimCo, they also sell 6 sessions for $349 and offer a military discount. I felt this was a little deceiving. I thought I was getting an amazing deal, but I was actually paying more since I am a military spouse and would have qualified for the discount. Now on to the sessions. Sometimes I was measured tightly and sometimes I was measured with the tape a little looser. I think this is their way of manipulating my results. At my first visit I was told to watch my diet, drink a gallon of water a day and I needed to stay active for at least 2 hours after my sessions (plus no eating during those 2 hours). I followed these rules very closely. I drank more water in two weeks than I've probably had in my entire life! I did lose 5 lbs and a total of about 5 inches (that's measured in three different spots on my abdomen and the total of those areas is 5 inches). But, honestly, just changing my diet, drinking water and exercising can produce results like that in two weeks. Needless to say, I did not buy any additional sessions when I was done with my pre-purchased ones. The office staff is very nice and I was always promptly taken back for my appointments, although I never once met the doctor.

Everyone was nice and the facility is clean with a calm environment. As I was going to pay the remainder of my appointment, I was told my total was $407(after my $50 deposit)!!! How did we go from $97 to $407!? Here's how, I signed up for 20 units however I was injected with 56 units! Was this ever discussed? No, it was never even mentioned. Did I agree to 56 units? Again, no it was never mentioned. I was absolutely flabbergasted and the only thing the gentleman at the desk could do was offer me an AfterPay alternative called Cherry. Upset is an understatement for me at this point. I feel like I was totally taken advantage of and forced into a purchase that I had not planned on making. I hope my experience shines light for others so they can avoid a situation like this. I absolutely will not be back.
