It's a reasonably sized store, because that's what they do--they don't sell sushi, or have a a huge deli and bakery and butcher and all. They have an alcohol section--of course, this is Wisconsin after all--and it's not small for the size of the store. It was easy to shop, and they have t-shirts/onesies/sweatshirts in case you need some PW merch.

More of a market than a large grocery story. They have a large parking lot. Inside there are the usual items that you might need including a nice place to get some coffee. The produce looked good and fresh. We were hoping to pick up some local pasta that we had found online, however unfortunately they were out of stock. Prices seemed to be decent although some prices on seltzer water seemed higher than what we usually pay. Located conveniently right in town near several shops and restaurants.

This Shell convenience store/station sits right on a prime scenic lot on Highway 42 overlooking the…read morebay.  I couldn't believe that they had the same $3.899/gal price for regular 87 octane that matched the cheapest price anywhere in Door County at this time.  I've seen Shell prices at a lot of places over the years in both the US and overseas, and they're ALWAYS one of the highest priced brands, ha.  I had to fill up here just for grins, even though I really didn't need to.  It was an old style pump too, with no card reader, no digital screens, and I was flabbergasted and paralyzed for a moment!  I thought, well, I guess have to go in and give them my credit card for a prepayment.   But nope, Andrea the clerk inside, just says fill it up and come back and tell me how much it was.  Ha, a total old school honor system here, and a nostalgic trip to the past.  I'll go with 4 stars.  Now if they had an attendant come out and check my oil dipstick and clean the windshield and pump the gas, I'd go with 5 stars 4sure! ps - Inside the building, they have a standard, small convenience store with pre-packaged goods, i.e., no hot food.
