Been talking with "Hal" Sousa, we love Dani Blain herself, and decided we didn't like his…read moreoverbearing, interrupting, self righteous attitude, and asked him not to contact us anymore. He continued with an onslaught of emails which we kindly asked him to stop. That only caused an over abundance of emails so I called him. That infuriated him and he proceeded to berate me, give me an "F you," and hang up on me. Very unprofessional.

I recently purchased a home in which the seller was represented by a member of the Blain team…read more I'm sorry to say there were many issues that came up from start to finish. The first was the guarantee, upon first seeing the home, that the window coverings (wood blinds) would be repaired. The selling agent personally told us this would happen. (It didn't.) Another issue was the prompt and even unresponsive communication. We agreed upon a quick escrow since the home was unoccupied. But, at times we could wait days, and sometimes no response, to questions or forms to be completed. The agreed upon terms weren't all met and my (buyers) agent had to do the termite work the Sunday before closing (Tuesday) in order for us to close. After closing we came in to an extremely dirty home. It took over 11 hours for my wife and I to clean every surface. When I told a few friends what we did, as home owners, they were shocked and all indicated they would expect the home to be clean, or at least not that dirty. (From a glance things were vacuumed, and generally looked good. But seemingly every surface and area needed to be cleaned.) The kicker, the last straw, was the last day of escrow when the sellers wanted one extra day. In most cases that would have been fine but in this case we needed to get in the house asap. (My bust season started less than a week later so we needed to be settled before.) The oemers had all of escrow to be there but they choose the last day to reminisce. This almost devastated my wife, having her expectations dashed. The Blain team may be the most prolific real estate team in California but that certainly doesn't qualify them as the best.

I was a business tenant renting an office for my real estate company. They never saw the office…read moreprior to renting the office to me but after moving out they took $250 of my deposit saying they needed to do repairs that were there prior to me renting the office. When I complained to the owner of the building Bankston agreed to give me the $250. That was 2 weeks ago and I still don't have it. The girl who answered the phone said the check was in the mail on 8/27/2024, however to date 9/7/24 I have not received the check. I finally requested them to stop pay and reissue and their answer to me was, "the bank charges a fee and we're not eating it". Again I spoke to the owner of the building and he told them to stop pay and reissue. I guess he is going to pay it. I hope he changes Property Mgmt companies, because they are not serving his best interest.

Unreasonable. Greedy…read more I've lived in the condo my deceased father resided in since 01/30/23, Dad passed on 1/31. My nephew lived here for 5 years. I am beyond the Termination of Tenancy Notice vacate date of 4/30 because Bankston Property Management decided to reject our applications due to a 2-day delay in submitting them, even though we agreed to sign a new lease via email and made them aware of the delay. My hope in writing this review is to inform other prospective tenants about Bankston PM's business practices and possibly motivate them to reconsider their decision so we can remain in our home. Our applications were 2-days late of the requested date set by PM contact because: * I had to go out of town (I informed her but received no reply), * We could not download applications from the PM site as instructed by contact - there was no link, * PM office did not respond when I requested assistance, * receptionist was instructed not to accept them when I went to drop them off Both PMs blamed us for the delay and decided to withdraw the lease offer. (Note: Our applications were reluctantly accepted.) Bankston is now taking legal action to evict me. I'm not sure why they refused to accept our applications given the circumstances but I believe it is mainly based on greed. Bankston planned a rent increase from $875/month (what my parents paid) to $1,200/month on our new lease, and at a meeting with PM, he stated they could get $1,400+/month if we moved out. Apparently, Bankston, would rather see us homeless and line their pockets than allow us to sign a new lease and have a home. My opinion is, to avoid renting from Bankston Property Management because they can be unreasonable, difficult, and lack empathy. Do some research and you'll find other potential tenants/tenants have had bad experiences with them. P.S. For the record, All our neighbors are willing to act as references for our tenancy.

Diana truly feels like an angel sent to help us. We struggled to sell our house for five months…read morewith our first agent. During that time, we barely had any inquiries, and very few people even came to see the property. Our previous agent told us that the leased solar panels made the house difficult to sell. We held a couple of open houses, but no one showed up, and the stress and frustration from our ongoing expenses really started to weigh on us. We loved our first home and would have happily stayed there forever if we didn't have to relocate for work. Switching to Diana was the best decision we made, and we couldn't be happier that we did. After working with her, our house sold in just two months, and the escrow process was quick and smooth. At first, I expected it would take several more months to sell because we had already been burned by our previous agent and didn't want to get our hopes up again. I still remember how happy I felt the moment she called to congratulate us on the sale. Diana truly was our angel. She is someone any buyer or seller can completely trust and rely on. I look forward to working with her on the purchase of my next home.

I am so surprised by all of these great reviews, this was not our experience with Diana at all…read more She was dismissive about our concerns, disrespectful in the way she spoke about our property and only seemed to care about how much money she would make. Her behavior made an already difficult sale so much more painful.
