What they don't tell you is that they take several applications and your non-refundable money and supposedly check your credit and background reports (as to the $$), then give several of the applicants to the owners to review. The owners, supposedly decide if they want to rent to any of these applicants and if they don't, they get several more (which gives them more applicant $$ to keep). Don't be fooled by them!! Trust in the reviews!! If you have already been scammed by them, please report them to the BBB. They need to be called out.

Tenant turnover used to be the worst for me... like seriously stressful. Every time someone…read moremoved out I was bracing myself for months of vacancy, showings that went nowhere, applications that looked good but flopped, and then sometimes ending up with tenants that weren't even good. My old manager? meh... didn't really care, made me feel like I was losing money and it was all on me. Chambers kinda changed all that. Vacancies dont drag forever anymore, tenants actually pay on time, treat the place decent... sounds simple but after what I went thru before it felt amazing. Tenants seem way calmer too. Less drama, fewer complaints... stuff actually gets handled. Chambers takes care of the communication, maintenance, all that stuff without turning it into a headache. Questions would come up and I'd either get no response or something super vague days later. After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. We paid rent for 3 yrs and only getting kicked out for owners family to move in(so no fault of our own). Now me and my family of 5 maybe homeless. Do better, if we were able to pay rent for 3 yrs higher then the 2 houses you only had us look at I'm positive we would be able to pay rent that was lower. I will never use them again. Homeless in just 2 months. They have no empathy. I'm sorry to have to even write this but people have the right to know. And I'm not even the type to complain heck we even went without running water for idk about 17 days. We didn't even complain or when the house was as is and we fixed the pumping cause of all the piping problems that wasn't covered by the lease or the electrical issue. When I lived there I worked for a few different real estate offices as well as Title companies, and Home Realty was by far the most professional and best to work with. Their staff and management has very high standards and does their best to help everyone they come in contact with. I have several girl friends that still live in town and they rent from them, all I've heard is positive things, so they seem to be great land-lords as well. If I were ever moving back to the ville, they would be my one and only place to stop whether it renting or buying.
