Instead, Tim listened to my concerns and decided on an alternative... muscle scraping. Tim explained everything, answered all my questions, and reassured me (when I had my doubts) that I don't have to live in pain anymore. The first visit was good, but the game changer came the second visit (Tuesday). For the first time in 13+ years, as I drove home, I FINALLY felt relief (at moments, I felt ZERO pain in my neck)! I just finished my third visit and I can't rave enough about how much of a difference this has made! For years, I have lived in frustration that my neck always hurt, and never thought I would feel better. Thank you Tim, and Midland Sports Rehab, for understanding that one size fits all treatment plans don't work, and for finding the one for me so quickly. She cares for her patients and goes out of her way to help them leave feeling better than they did upon entering the office. For example, she knows that my chronic hip issue requires more: she stretches my IT bands each time, giving me more of a range of mobility and helping hold my adjustment longer. Dr. Scarfe also cares by hiring good people: for the front of the office and even a massage therapist. Just today, I visited the office as a walk in. She was busy, right before lunch, yet she fit me in with a smile on her face. We moved away from Auburn three years ago: it would be more convenient for us to find another chiropractor, but we wouldn't dream of it. We make the trip once or twice a month, and it's always worth it.

I was receiving oral meds as well as infusion therapy treatment. In June 2023, McLaren Hospital decided to close the pain management center, without reason. The hospital gave the patients very little notice only to be seen for med refill one last time. I wish I was able to stay under Sam Morkos' care. He was attentive and answered my questions. He was never rushed and has compassion for his patients. I would have liked to have been his patient for much longer. Under his care, I had a new hope that I had not known before, for the management of my condition. My mom was literally going to therapy twice a day. Typically rehab centers dont do therapy on Saturday or Sunday, but not here. She was still receiving on the weekends. I found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and caring. Sometimes you are leery about a place for your loved one. No need to be worried about this place. They will take great care of you or your family member.
