Every time I've been to a dentist practice, they have fully talk to me about my options and what would I like to do. Not Dr. Mann at Aspen Dental, he just checked my teeth and scheduled an extraction. I will take blame for not asking more questions and not fully looking over what's going to be done. I'm just thinking get two teeth pulled and partial. But still, there was real communication or understanding on Dr. Mann / Aspen Dental side. It really felt like I got token advantage of by Dr. Mann. Of course eventually those teeth needed to be removed in the long run but I wasn't given a clear and proper choice on it. Then during the first extraction process, Dr. Mann was rude to me and to his dental assistant. To quote him he said "You can talk what the hell" while we're in the middle of the extraction. All in all I will not recommend coming to this aspen dental and/or to Dr. Mann. Unless it's an emergency or a cleaning, just make sure you know what's going on during your visit

Dr. Scanlon Glowczewski (the daughter of the previous Dr. Scanlon, who was also great) is the kindest physician ever - she remembers personal details about each patient and truly listens. The staff is always incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and friendly as well. I moved to South City but still drive the 45 minutes to their Florissant office to see them. They are well worth it.

The drive up is between a Lee's Chicken restaurant and a AT&T store. The building is in a weird location, but they seem well equipped. They have the same rotating x-ray equipment as other places. They seem to have more people at the front desk than other dental reconstruction businesses I have visited. Once in the back the offices are nice with large televisions to look at my teeth and realize they are not as bad as I thought. Very clean and upbeat offices. I walked away with a good feeling about the consultation and the business. The doctor was very professional about what I wanted and offered me more options than others were willing to offer.

They went far above their duties to not only help me sort out my insurance issues but also to make sure that I was comfortable and pain free while my surgery was being performed. The Dental Surgeon, Dr. Alexander, is one of the most personable professionals l that I have come in contact with. He treated me as a person and not just another patient. When I had a problem obtaining my prescribed medication after office hours I called his answering service, not expecting a solution until the office reopened on Monday. I was surprised that within an hour of calling the service I received a call back from Dr Alexander himself. He even gave me his private cellphone number in case anymore problems should arrive. I also find it disheartening how money hungry they are. If you do not have insurance that will cover the services, but willing to pay upfront so they have their money immediately, they offer NO discount. Instead they want to charge the patient the same as they would the insurance company, knowing that they will get less back from insurance so they are extremely greedy for their money. If you try and ask the staff if they offer discount, look out because the woman speaks so rudely to you and treats you very poorly for even asking. I see my family looking for a new dentist going forward after the way they just treated our grandmother.

I was quickly and pleasantly surprised by the inviting office environment, comfy couch, and friendly office staff. I had a very short wait and Chris led me back to the exam room. He was knowledgeable and precise and made me feel confident I was in the right place. Dr. Rosenburger was warm, friendly, and welcoming as soon as he stepped into the room. I felt very comfortable during the entire exam. I have now returned for a second appointment to have a lower tooth extracted. I was VERY scared about it being seven months pregnant and knowing I had limited pain management options for after the procedure. Once again the doc made me feel calm and comfortable. He rubbed a numbing gel on my gums and I didn't feel anything! Not the shots to numb the tooth, not the drill and none of the extraction!! It was a difficult extraction and I even needed to have a few stiches, but I felt nothing. I used Tylenol every 2 to 4 hours for one day after and now I feel as good as new. No wonder this office is on the list of best St. Louis dentists for 2015! My entire family has just found a new dentist.

Each appointment, I've been welcomed in a friendly manner, brought back by the hygienist quickly and had a great overall experience. One of the hygienists, Donna, has become someone I specifically request now. She does an excellent job - not only in her thoroughness during the cleaning but also in educating her patients about maintaining good oral hygiene.
