For people who do like to read lengthy reviews, here are the reasons why Kirk is an amazing therapist and why he deserves to be checked out: I originally thought that therapists were stern and authoritarian (à la Judge Judy, dressed in her black robe with its white laced-collar, telling me how I screwed up my life), but Kirk has proven to be the exact opposite. He is patient, nonjudgmental, possess a great sense of humor, and he always respects his clients. Kirk gives advice, not orders. (And so far he has never shown up to a session wearing a black robe with a white laced-collar.) Kirk is also accommodating to his client's circumstances with a flexible schedule and a generous sliding scale. Last, but in some ways the most important, Kirk has a superb sense of multicultural sensitivity because although he is a Caucasian from the Midwest, he can understand the issues of an Asian Hawaiian Islander like me. Kirk has guided me through several personal and professional difficulties over the years and I have greatly benefited from his keen knowledge and insightfulness. I feel incredibly fortunate to have Kirk as my therapist. Kirk has earned a most heartfelt Mahalo ("thank you") from me.

Sounds complex, but the method seemed quite simple from my vantage point... Simple, but yielding great results. In just a few sessions, I experienced epiphanies galore! I went through a huge life upheaval including the loss of my partner, my home and my job only to come to the wonderful realization that these challenges were opportunities for growth. Patty helped me through that process of self-realization and development with extreme care and great insight. I like that she is able to challenge me while always remaining on the side of my best interest. Like the former review, I agree that soooo much change can happen in just a few short sessions, proving just how effective Patty is. I will be moving back to my city in the north, wishing Patty were there, but knowing that she served her purpose in my life while I was in San Diego. Thanks again, Patty!

To Anyone Seeking a Healer or Psychic, I had the very…read moreworst counseling session of my life with Connie Stewart of SoulSync Consulting. It was due to Connie's use of canned advice. I had used Connie for over 5 years but often found her pop-psychology answers to deep issues troubling. She has a keen talent for reading the spirits of other people and this gave me backup for my own intuition. This is her only talent, reading other people, but she stretches out her sessions with incomplete information about manifesting and soul purpose and things she really knows nothing about. This is because her hourly rate is exorbitant at over $300 per hour. During our last session Connie inundated me with the scripted advice that she seemed to forget she shoe-horned into every session I have had with her since the beginning, even when it did not apply. I have grown a great deal since I first met her and now I can see that Connie is extremely incomplete as a healer and is as damaged as any trauma victim. She just covers it up. Connie's advice may work for a retired baby boomer but not for a younger person who needs actionable information. I left our conversation bereft and very confused, wishing I had never met her at all. I have since found much more talented sensitives and people who actually study the things they advise people on. YOU CAN ONLY USE CONNIE FOR HER MEDIUMSHIP, NOT HER ADVICE WHICH IS FOUNDED ON NOTHING. This makes Connie dangerous, though I know from experience she will take no responsibility for it. She may tell you that you 'manifested the situation' that she convoluted or some hogwash. Connie is an unhealed healer, not responsible for her advice because it is etheric and lacks substance. She uses this advice to stretch out her sessions which, without her discursive ideas would drop from 1 hour to 15 minutes, thereby decreasing her profit margin. More and more I am becoming aware of lazy, new age baby boomers like Connie who have not continued their spiritual education and are now liabilities to younger people who cannot live on misinterpreted fairy tale magic ideas. Connie will lay this cloudy thought on you even during the most tenuous, sensitive time of your life. That is what she did to me. It is because she is lazy and her advice is memorized and comes from some old books she read in 80's and an Oprah episode or two. If you do not work on you spirituality at all and are totally stuck Connie may help you. If you are empathic, have some trust in your own intuition, and are capable of rational thought; if you want results based in the real world, limit her to reading energy and do not take the advice she tries to package with it. It will sound good but makes less and less sense the more time you spend with her. After our last session I thought I was going nuts. I had to get other opinions. I played a recording of my last session with Connie for a few spiritual teachers and a counselor and the general feeling was disgust for her skill and presentation. Save yourself the bamboozlement and look elsewhere. People need truth now more than ever.Shame on Connie Stewart and all other lazy healers as we move into 2020. Maybe she should retire.

I needed to write a review for this wonderful clinician, Shawn Dee Hartless, for the outpouring of…read moresupport & information that she provided us for our child. Our child is going through some difficult things during a family crisis/traumatic episode-and I sent out messages to various child clinicians to get some insight on how best to provide our little one with services/developmentally appropriate support. Out of the countless messages that I sent-Shawn Dee stands out for being so transparent, ethical, informative, and supportive. She told me straight up that I shouldn't go to her for my child's specific needs-to save my money, and then went into length on how to get my child services/support that is more tailored to her unique needs at an affordable cost. Shawn Dee did not have to go the extra mile to help me understand the very complex school system-how to best champion/advocate for my child, navigate the system, and who/what gatekeepers to be mindful of. We only have one young child (although I'm due to give birth to our second child shortly). So we are new at this-and Shawn Dee went above and beyond-without ever having met or seen me in person, or getting a dime of my money-to help inform us and give us detailed, informative, effective, and thoughtful insights into how best to navigate the system, stand up for our child, and get her the support she needs. I cannot thank her enough. She even offered to be a support person in the future-should I need some insight/have further questions. What a beautiful, kind, and generous spirit to have in your and your child's corner! Thank you!

(And I hope that you agree that that's a good thing!) Dr. Oliver is really good at what he does. In addition to chiropractics, there are also a number of massage therapists who work out of the office. I recommend Francesca or Lizzie. "Dr" Lindquist is the absolute worst psychologist I have ever seen. She was late to the appointment…read morewhich was only 30 minutes to begin with. She is obviously very disorganized because she started talking to me about why I was there and it didn't sound like me at all. Only after I told her that I wasn't there for those issues did she realize she was looking at the wrong patient's file!! She had to rummage through the stack of papers next to her to find my file. She asked me 2 questions about the general reason of why I was seeking care before she started hounding me about my weight. I have lost weight because of my depression and I explained to her the reasoning behind it. She did not have any compassion at all. She never once said "I'm sorry you're going through that" or "I understand how hard that would be". Nothing even close. She started attacking me about how I was too skinny and that I shouldn't be taking certain medications because they could suppress your appetite. All the while not even taking into consideration that I had been taking them for years so they clearly weren't the cause of my sudden weight loss. Then when I pushed back by telling her that she had no right questioning the medications I'm taking as that is not in her job title or even her capabilities, she decided to double down and call me anorexic. There is no page in any psychology book that says it's okay to throw out a diagnosis without proper testing. She said that without knowing if I had prior issues with an eating disorder or if I had body dysmorphia. God forbid if I did, she could have sent me into a downward spiral. Within 15 minutes of meeting this woman she decided to harass me by throwing out that I was "purposefully starving" myself and that I must have an aversion to food. I tried telling her many times that I have no issue with eating and that I love food. She wouldn't let it go and kept throwing punches at me. She is a horrible person and horrible at her job. I can't see how she could ever become a psychologist when she obviously doesn't care at all about other people. She took an oath that she would "Do no harm" when she became a practitioner and yet in those 30 minutes that is all she did. She disgusts me.
