This laundromat, plus wash-and-fold did exceptional work from start to finish! They picked up my loads in a timely manner, and brought them back just as quickly. Everything was folded beautifully, but what pleased me the most was how my garments and other washables were separated according to category - like a bag for tops, a bag for pants, a bag for sheets etc., Sarah, Nicole and Gary are also very friendly and helpful. They have consistently done an excellent job and my laundry comes back clean and folded on schedule! As a Senior who has downsized, I sometimes find my laundry piles up and is overwhelming to do in the Apartment Laundry. Also, if I am not feeling well, I know I can trust Suds Burlington to pick up and return my clean laundry right to my door! No heavy lifting for me. She patiently showed me how to use the coin-operated machines and even loaned me a mesh laundry bag big enough to fit my king-size comforter to keep it safe during the dry cycle. At only seven dollars for a 27-minute XL wash cycle and two dollars for a 25-minute Large dry cycle, the prices are incredibly affordable. I was delighted to be able to use my preferred detergent and Oxiclean for my very sensitive skin. As a young, petite female, I felt completely safe at Suds Laundry. Catherine was always available to provide assistance or advice, and the front and back doors were continuously left open. The laundromat is located in a nice area, and there are stores nearby to get snacks while you wait. Suds Laundry's clientele who visited were friendly and welcoming. Before my visit, I spoke with the owner over the phone, and he kindly explained everything and answered all of my questions. Suds Laundry is a family-owned business, and I highly recommend supporting them. My experience was excellent, and I would definitely use Suds Laundry again. One of the things that impressed me the most was Catherine's attention to detail. She even offered me a clean plastic bag to put my dried comforter in, free of charge, when I realized I forgot mine at home. At other laundromats, I've had to pay for every little thing, so I was pleasantly surprised. Clearly, the owner has trained his staff well in providing superior customer service. I do have a couple of suggestions to make Suds Laundry even better. It would be helpful to have a step ladder or step-stool for short people to pour detergent into the washer. You can download the LG Laundry Lounge app for free on Google or Apple, and in real time, see which machines are available, or if they are in use, how much time is remaining. This is a huge game changer as you can leave your home when you know there are machines available, saving you from waiting around at the laundromat for a machine to free up. On top of all brand new washers and dryers, we have a brand new comfortable seating area with tables in between each seat, as well as 6 brand new stainless steel folding tables and laundry carts. All of our machines take quarters, loonies and toonies, and if you have bills only, we have a change machine fully functioning and ready to go as well for you. We also have an attendant who is fantastic and offers wash/dry/fold that can be reached all day that lives across the street if they are not currently on location by calling the store, so they are never more than 1 minute away if you have any questions or if something else that comes up that needs their attention.
