Warren did help out during our contract negotiation by asking for specific language that only a lawyer would ask for. However, he was sloppy and even put some items on our post inspection request that weren't in the report. I think that was a copy and paste mistake. He also was slow to respond to emails and actually delayed our process a little bit which was frustrating since I told him we're hoping for a fast closing. At the end of the day we got what we needed, but he added additional stress to an already stressful process which was very unfortunate.

My realtor was extremely impressed with Warren's thoroughness in protecting my interests if things fell through ... and I ended up bidding on three places, so this was an extended process. I will say, in response to the other review, that Warren takes the time to be thorough, make sure he answers questions correctly with actual knowledge, and preferably move things forward between phone calls/emails. This typically takes a little longer than humoring anxious buyers (and we're all anxious) with nutritionless hand-holding. I was glad he was focusing his time on getting things right rather than calling/emailing to tell me he'd call/email me later every time, but maybe that's just me.

I could never get any questions answered regarding the property i.e. what storage unit accompanies the unit, do the sellers have a tax homestead exemption in place. I would literally have to ask multiple times, week after week and all I would hear in response is 'the sellers aren't communicative'. So I would then have to call the property manager of the condos or the county tax assessor to find the answers myself! She could have done that but apparently that is too much work for her too! Oh, and she NEVER even checked to make sure a homestead exemption was in place! Apparently that is too much work for her as well! Not only that but a couple days before closing I made her aware I needed the closing statement by Tuesday so I had time to review it and go to the bank for a cashiers check to close on Tuesday......she had it and never forwarded it to me! And never communicated the situation to the other parties! Literally all she did was had the sellers agree to pay their taxes and not even for their entire stay! That was a total rip off......I could have done what she did myself and done it better. Look elsewhere, this was beyond a bad experience.

I needed an attorney to file a case to recover about $8,000 owed to me by a former employer, the motion for which has already been written up. The legal process is not my professional domain, so I just wanted to do things by the book. I heard back from the service promptly, and the first attorney they recommended to me had a cellphone number which had been disconnected. I phoned CBA/LRS a second time, let them know about it and was referred to a noted Chicago employment attorney (name withheld). I left a voicemail message at his office, which was returned immediately after the holidays by an assistant (I guess) who basically informed me that the monies I was seeking were "no money," and "not worth his time" because "he had to eat, too." While I appreciated the candor, the honesty and the timely returned phone call, I found myself pondering...what's the real point of such a "service?"
