Besides the back end of our Cherokee not getting washed at all we are being charged every month. Do not use Silverstar carwashes. The rear of your vehicle will not be clean after any wash. The opposite side of the vehicle prep will not be clean. Therefor the quality of the wash is terrible. The scan your plate and enter is a joke. Each wash will require the same additional information over and over again. The wash is not worth the cost. read more

And then Jessica the manager yelled at me for following the employees to where it happened at the outlet of car wash so i could get pictures and video of the ice heave that slid my truck into the wall. After water flooding my trunk to someone's bumper hitting my car, there have been problems. Today the carwash broke my mirror on the right side of my car, after I folded it in towards the vehicle! I had the monthly unlimited package and brought my car there yesterday. The gate wouldn't open. With traffic piling up behind me, I had no choice but to purchase a one-time carwash. I called customer service to get a refund, and they accused me of trying to bring a different car through. They then put me on hold and disconnected me after 5 minutes. Customer service is excellent from the employees working at the individual locations. Put your car washes themselves are crap. They tear up your tires and your rims they scratch up the paint all along the edges of your vehicle. And silver Star doesn't take responsibility for any damages they do. I entered one of the car washes with all four tires on the rims. When I exited the car wash one of my tires was off the rim. They tried to say that I drove in to the car wash like that. If you value the paint job on your car and the tires and rims on your car I strongly suggest not using silver Star. Worst car washes ever. If I could give them negative Stars I would. read more

Poor customer service when you enter the wash area. They barely spray any water on and seldom if ever use the brush on the windshield or bumpers. Sometimes you get soap, sometimes you barely get any soap. The rinse water is as minuscule as they can use. It was not like this at first, but over this past year it has deteriorated horribly. There is no value for the money. We drive to the 57th & Marion Road one. It is wonderful! Sad how poor it has become. read more

I gave silverstar a chance and even got monthly membership and it's not worth it. I have gone thru 2-3times last few visits and still have yet to get my vehicle clean. They try to cram as many cars as possible bumper to bumper in and you think if they see someone come thru multiple times in a row they would at least attempt to scrub the front where ALL the bugs are but NOPE! Im going back to Blue Tide as they are friendly and never had issues with coming out of wash with a unclean vehicle. Only switched to SilverStar because I figured they were closer to me so didn't hurt to try instead. read more

The normal was total clean car until something changed and it didn't clean roof of car and hood. ran through twice and was told it was my choice of package Never had a problem like this in the past with my package. Tried to speak to a manager and filled out online survey asking to speak to someone. I was never called by anyone. They do not care if customers stay with them or not. I canceled my monthy service . I was promised a refund for the "FULL SERVICE" wash card I was sold and cannot use because Silver Star completely stopped providing the full service washes I was promised when sold the wash card. There seems to have been a steady decline in the customer service over this past year. It's like opening up a box of crackerjacks, you never know what you're gonna get. Do I get bug spray or not, do I get a brush or not, if I do get a brush, is it just the driver side or both sides, is it front and back, just front or just back, are there towels available to use. I went to Silverstar with the intent of buying small monthly package, $19.95. I had already done there $5 for two months promotion. At the window, they were doing the promotion again. I disclosed to the sales lady that I had already done the promo and cancelled it while on vacation. She said we can try again and see if it works. After trying it she told it worked and I would be billed $5 for the next two months but would need to cancel again. I thought, great, wasn't expecting that. Upon checking my credit card I found there was a charge for $34.95, the top package. I did not authorize this charge so called customer service (Hannah) and was told there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to the manager and she said her lead was on the phone and would call me back. I received no call back so called again. Agent again told me they could not do a refund or reduce the package. She said a manager would call me. Still no call and don't expect one as the customer service is terrible! They do not try to resolve issues only want to take your money. Caveat: Be careful cause once they run your card, they own you. TERRIBLE BUSINESS read more

I have been with Silverstar for many years. The wash is great! Even the people working there are for the most part, great. It wasn't until I went to put my account on hold that I had an issue. Now, I have done this before. Just put it on hold and then start it up when the weather warms up again. However, this time, when I went in to put the accounts on hold, there was a message that said they will now charge $1 a month for the account to be on hold. We have never been charged before. So I went right back and canceled the accounts. I got an email stating the account would close at the end of the month and thought nothing of it. We tried to use the remaining of the month but the accounts are showing "on hold". There wasn't anyone to talk to when we drove thru so I paid the wash fee and sent an email. We have always had great responses until now. Now, I am told that since the account was on hold, then they get to keep the money and there is nothing left to refund, even though the email clearly states the wash is still available until the end of the month. read more

Went in for a car wash and came out with a cracked windshield. They were quick to get me in to see the damage. Said they would be in contact with me 24-48 hours later. It was over a week later and an email to the site manager that they got back to me with a letter stating they are at no fault for the damage. Went to the newest location on Minnesota Ave (firmer Vern Eide). Vacuums not working but didn't find this out until AFTER purchasing a wash package. After discovering this little nugget of vital information we drove to another set of vacuums only to discover zero vacuums are functioning. When I went to the attendant to inquire I was abruptly informed "we can't turn the vacuums on today!" Perhaps we could have been informed at the time of purchase! Customer service totally lacking. Very terrible place under very terrible management. My car got dinged from this place the first time through the wash and it was very obviously from the fault of the car wash. I filled out and incident report and was never contacted. I called many, many times and was ignored or they promised to call back. My friend's car also was scratched from this car wash was and they treated him the same. This place is a huge risk, if they screw up your car then they will refuse to take ownership, I will never go back and I would tell everybody I know to go somewhere else read more

My husband has been dealing with staff at Silverstar regarding their dishonest practices of stealing. He canceled his package by the date Silverstar specified. He received an email confirming the cancellation effective 8/21/18. Silverstar then took another month's payment. When we saw the extra charge on our statement we called and were told only Anthony could help us. My husband decided to just test it out... they took the payment so you would expect to be able to get the vehicle washed, right? Nope! Staff at the window explained to him that his plan was done back on August 21 so he would have to pay!! Wow!!! These people are crooked! Do not give your bank information to Silverstar! Another employee called my husband this afternoon and said that this isn't possible. Again- crooks!!!!! This has also happened to another family member of ours and he was never given a refund either! Bad business!! We believe in telling everyone when businesses do well. When we have a problem we go to that business and give the opportunity for them to make it right. Silverstar steals from people.
