Even though slightly dangerous, as our house is on a steep slope, they were able to reroute the water line down and around a driveway then back into the basement. Within eight hours of calling, we had a rerouted water service line with a new shut off, an expansion tank added to hot water heater, and a replaced outside faucet. They were getting ready to leave and the faucet was hanging over into the sink. They said they didn't have the part so they were done. I asked if they had looked in the box. We hired Metro Plumbing to install a tankless water heater. We paid $8500. We were told that the…read morewater heater would have a small vent running out of the back of our house. When they installed the unit, without asking us, they drilled a large hole out of the front of our house. The vent is a three feet long PVC pipe that sticks out of the front of our house. We called them to correct the mistake. Three times they sent out different employees to observe the unit. Three times the employees told us the work was not performed to their standards. Three times they claimed they would fix the vent pipe to our satisfaction but they had to "order parts." The fourth time they came to our house they claimed the repair should cost $2000 to $3000 more to bring it "to code." We decided to have another plumber fix their mess. Never, ever hire Metro Plumbing. They rely on marketing and pressure sales tactics. The plumbers are very low quality. I have owned homes for 25 years and they are the most unprofessional business we have ever hired.
