I was transport to a Hospital in the middle of the night this EMTS don't know how to treat patients…read moreit all they were very rude to me and disrespectful and making fun of my condition this is the first time I had an issue with a Ambulance service I will not recommend CARE Ambulance to anybody worst company ever

Should only receive zero or negative stars. Let's start with $1,000 dollars to drive 1 mile to the…read morehospital? That's just plain fkn ridiculous no matter what they might think. Secondly, they couldn't wait to get paid by the Veterans Administration by a couple of months, so they send it to collections, to their crony partner CMRE Financial. I asked them to wait for my lawsuit to progress against the hospital they took me to, but no, Veterans don't count, only money. They said after the fact they'd love to get paid, but hey, they gave that right up when they went to collections, selling the tab to CMRE. The next time I need an ambulance, I'll crawl to the hospital. I'd feel better anyways because when they came to get me at home after I fell and broke my back, they dropped me to the floor trying to get me off my bed onto a gurney. Did not feel good at all. Amateurs. And they refused to take me to the VA hospital saying they're not allowed. Gee, other ambulance services get to.... wonder why they're not. They're just full of shit. It was 5 more miles to that hospital and they just didn't want to waste the fuel. And it crossed the LA / Orange County line by 3 miles. I guess. Still, don't ever use them. Amateur personnel and in a great big hurry just to get paid. And they don't like Veterans. We'll get this all ironed out in court.

Unprofessional, unsanitary, unsafe, unacceptable. The two guys who showed up from InteCare to…read moretransport my mom, in pain with a broken/repaired hip, from skilled nursing to the orthopedist were wholly unprofessional. Their English was poor, and they spoke to each other in Vietnamese. Never mind uniforms, these guys couldn't even be bothered to wear t-shirts displaying the name of the company. They wore jeans and sweatshirts. They looked and behaved like just a couple guys hired to move a couch, not an injured patient. The transport vehicle was a beat up old white van, lacking any kind of signage indicating it was a professional medical transport. It looked shabby. The gurney was likewise dilapidated. I followed closely, watching as the van coughed out black smoke from the exhaust. My poor mom later reported to me that the ride was horrible. The movers were sloppy and careless from start to finish. They lacked skill in properly handling a patient. The medical professionals at the doctor's office were as appalled as I was. The x-ray tech was annoyed with these buffoons as they clumsily fumbled around the room trying to transfer my mom from the gurney to the table, and she admonished them for their ineptitude. I didn't select this company myself. The transport was arranged by the skilled nursing facility. I was required to pay $350 over the phone in advance for this awful experience. I tried to go to the company's website, but the address is inactive. I don't know if this outfit is licensed or bonded. I will try to report them to the Better Business Bureau and any other organization that has oversight of such medical services. As horrible as the service was, it was completed, so I probably don't have any recourse for a refund or disputed charge with my bank. All I can say is that my mom did get to and from her appointment alive. But traumatized.

InteCare transported my wheelchair bound mom (who was on hospice) in March 2023. I waited to write…read morethis review as I guess I hoped the memory would just go away. I decided I want to prevent this from happening to another family. The driver, Steven, picked up my mom from a skilled nursing facility (in HB) and transported her to an assisted living home (in Garden Grove). He pulled into a high school parking lot and groped her under her shirt. A police report was filed but misdemeanors are too small to pursue for our overwhelmed police force. Steven was interviewed with a Vietnamese translator and denied anything happened. The police have his touch DNA on a shirt we submitted for evidence--so watch out Steven! Needless to say ALWAYS follow in a separate car whenever your loved one is being transported; or use an ambulance.
