After trusting this firm with my business taxes for years, I've discovered an astonishing trail of mistakes, IRS penalties, returned tax payments, and financial headaches. They used a bank routing number that wasn't even associated with my business or my bank! This resulted in repeated failed tax payments and years of problems with the IRS. The truly unbelievable part? I had provided them with the CORRECT banking information years earlier, and I have the emails proving it. And that wasn't the only problem. We've uncovered tax payments applied to the wrong tax forms, repeated filing issues, penalties, and a mess spanning multiple tax years. Their incompetence has cost my business money, countless hours, and an unbelievable amount of frustration. However, I met Barry (CPA) on 03/11/22 for my 2021 tax returns and received the draft from his non-CPA or maybe non-licensed assistant on 03/15/22. The draft included typos and was not prepared as what I discussed with Barry and thus I asked why, then she started NOT RESPONDING TO MY EMAILS INTENTIONALLY until I stopped by several times during the week prior to tax day and finally got my taxes filed on the tax day. Now I had another CPA review my 2021 return and file an amendment to get $7,000 overpayment back.
