My two issues: it has less variety available than other Ultas in the Metro area (for example, some of the Ulta exclusive brands like NUDESTIX, Madison Reed) and customer service is an issue. The sales clerks often make simple mistakes but frequently enough that it is frustrating (forgetting to check for free gifts or points for example). There's one clerk in particular who seems to specialize in offering unhelpful comments, such as "Oh you should have bought this last week when it was on sale." Last visit, it was "Wow, this is a lot of stuff, it's going to be expensive" and "If there was a contest to see how much stuff you could fit in the basket, you would win." Then, when it rang up, she completely skipped the points and I had to ask her to go back and credit me the roughly $60 I have on my Ultamate credit card. Maybe a more Buddhist approach before commenting: Is what I'm about to say kind? Necessary? True? Does it improve on the silence? If the answer is no, save it for some other time. You don't know the situation of your customers or the people in your store. We're still in a pandemic. A little kindness goes a long way.

After 10 minutes of this obnoxious behavior (mind you, there were other customers in the store he didn't bother surveilling), I finally got tired of his obvious profiling and said as much.
