Without a doubt this is a life-saving service. My family has worked with Silver Service, not once, but twice, and I see a third time in our future. My dad unexpectedly passed away in March 2015. Emily and her team stepped in and did the work that my mom and I couldn't handle doing at the time - cleaning out my dad's closet, shredding several decades worth of documents and downsizing my mother to a condo. They literally handled everything. A few months later after my mother sold the house she shared with my dad for close to 30 years, Silver Service moved her into a condo. While she was at closing, they not only moved in the furniture, but hung pictures on the wall, arranged her china cabinet beautifully, had clothes folded in the drawers and hanging in the closets, and stocked the kitchen cabinets with pantry items and dinnerware. All my mother did at the end of a stressful and emotionally draining day was put her key in the door and sit down in her favorite chair. Fast forward a few years and my mother suffered a rough fall that sent her to assisted living. I contacted Emily with Silver Service and she dropped everything to help move my mother into Covenant Woods in just a couple of days. Once again, my mother left the rehabilitation hospital and moved straight into a beautifully decorated apartment with everything laid neatly in her drawers, family pictures displayed on the wall and surrounded by the things that made her feel at home in a new and uncertain environment. After moving, in both situations, Emily went out of her way to visit my mother and check-in with her from time to time to see how she was feeling.
