I have been going here for over 20 years and the quality has always been top notch. You can tell his quality in the food. Most American Chinese restaurants have consistent feel and texture in soup dishes, e.g. Hot and Sour, where you can tell it is from a bag or can. At Jade East you can tell he made it fresh, with real ingredients and spices. The same goes for his handmade egg rolls, Wontons, Chicken Wings (better than any chicken wings in the US, and even better than KFC's in China), and the rest of the menu. Don't waste your time on other Chinese restaurants in southern Ohio, you need to go here, NOW.

The crab Rangoon appetizer was just okay compared to other places. The staff was friendly, however not very attentive. That's the only reason I don't give them 5 stars. Past few times I've had hibachi chicken/shrimp it has been so dry and overcooked, not to mention the sauce being way too salty. My only complaint is that they removed the sushi off the bar and a few other things. They did this around covid and it sucks. It seems like Chinese buffets around here keep closing and I want this place to stay open because there's not many left. The owners are really nice too. The parking lot needs a lot of work though and is something they need to work on. There are massive pot holes everywhere. Other than that I've never had any issues with this place.

For the amount of people dining, the food trays were pretty sparse however they did start putting some food out after I had been there for a little while. Everything, including the items that were being put out was just lukewarm, it tasted old and most everything was kind of dried out. I had always enjoyed the Hibachi and Sushi but both were gone. Honestly there wasn't much of anything about the food I could say I enjoyed eating. It's a buffet so at least I had good service, I only wish I could have gotten myself a refill on my drink. The restaurant looks tired and worn out, the whole of the restaurant looked somewhat dirty and unkempt. I probably will not be going back to eat here and I hate that because it used to be a good place to eat.
