I have dark brown hair, and I wanted to go to light brown. I understood that I'd have to get my hair slightly lightened with bleach. This lady had my hair almost platinum for a shade that was maybe only two shades lighter than my hair. Excessive damage for no reason. Then as she dyed my hair, I kept feeling my hair touch my bare clothes. Long story short, she completely bleached the back of my brand new $90 hoodie. And didn't mention it to me. And my hair was burgundy and very patchy. My hair turned out damaged and not what I asked for at all. I ended up getting a full refund, minus tip, but I wish I could've gotten a refund, taken the tip, and been reimbursed for the sweatshirt. This happened over a year ago but as I read other reviews on the hair stylists here, I figured I'd chip in. ONLY giving two stars instead of one because I once got a haircut here from a different stylist and I absolutely loved it. This stylist had several tattoos and I believe her name was Shelby- but I'm not sure.

I have yet to experience any real discomfort and for the first time ever, I have not had a single breakout afterwards. She uses a wonderful mixture of tea tree oil and aloe that cools down the waxed area and feels delightful. I intend to get brave and try more waxing in the spring because of the amazing results. Shortly afterwards I am back with April for a fabulous hair experience. I have not been this happy in many years since my favorite stylist moved to New York. I got them done on 08/14 and they started getting black dots and chipped the next day and he didn't it even close to my reference picture people are very uneducated including theses nail tech saying that it dirty that I got black spots but if they knew how to do nails they know they didn't cure them right ( google is free).
