First visit to the Highlands area. This place is awesome. They have beautiful jewelry, American Indian things, gems, stones and everything in between. Located in the middle of town. Was greeted by Jen. I was overwhelmed with all the beautiful things, but my eye went straight to the singing bowls. Well, I guess there has to be one unhappy customer, so I guess it'll be me. I have bought several items from the Silver Eagle in Highlands, and never had an issue. Recently, I bought 2 knives that were about $150/each. I noticed the Silver Eagle sticker, on the boxes, was covering numbers. I googled those numbers and found those exact knives for $55 and less. Okay, maybe I didn't do my due diligence is shopping, but I did ask the sales person where they were made, to which he replied, "I think Colorado or out west somewhere ". Nope, according to all the websites, the knives are made in Pakistan, and I would bet that the materials used to make them are grossly embellished also. Now I'm wondering about the origin and contents of the other items I bought. read more

I was just in this store. They were definitely not friendly towards me. One of them left a box of lapis rings on the counter, one of the staff came over to me right away to make sure I wasn't stealing anything. When I did ask for help, the gentleman was too busy talking about how rich people from Naples, FL are. I just ended up walking out. read more

Really nice owners, I spoke mostly with the woman owner and she was so helpful and nice. They travel and pick out the jewelry from tribal artists in the Southwest, and they have some beautiful work in the shop. Some great silver and stone work in here.
