I was in the market for a silver Native America bracelet when I stopped into the Silver Cloud. They have some nice jewelry but their strongest asset is customer service. This has to be the nicest managed store in Sedona. The gentleman working during my two visits was very informative and patient. The prices are fair. In addition to jewelry they also sell tons of tourist type merchandise. Handcrafted Ironwood art, Pearl Cascade Pottery, apparel, hand crafted knives and much more. The store is jammed packed from front to back and side to side. You might feel the need to circle around it twice to make sure that you did not miss anything. read more

This shop is beautiful. Visit this place first before you go to buy materials from anywhere else in Sedona. My friends and I came for the day to hike, eat, and find some treasures in Sedona. Little did I know we would find not only beautiful jewelry, but made a new close friend. The owner Jon cares for his customers, and was incredibly friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable of the stones, rings, and petrified wood from a carving my friend had bought. We exchanged stories, laughed, and had a wonderful conversation during our time there. To explain the owners personality: as soon as we stepped in from the cold weather he blasted the heater just in time! My family and I decided to stay in Sedona for a few days after the Grand Canyon. Best decision ever! After dinner we strolled around. We entered a candle shop, which led into Silver Cloud. Silver Cloud has a little of everything, from tchotchkes, the usual souvenirs, beautiful handmade jewelry to amazing art work done by local artists. There is something for everyone. The best thing at Silver Cloud...well person is John. John is the most welcoming, kindest, and just wonderful human being you will meet. He took the time to talk to all 3 of us. We chatted about things in the store, living in San Diego (which is were we are from), our mutual love for Disney and much more. We really enjoyed our time at SIlver Cloud, we left with trinkets, some souvenirs and made a new friend. We stopped by Silver Cloud again our last day in Sedona, to say farewell to John. He surprised our son with a beautiful piece of his own art work. Our son loves turtles, so John made this beautiful piece just for him. John was amazing, he was super attentive, very knowledgable about the various stones and even the jewelry designers, and the selection is beyond gorgeous! We never felt rushed and in the end we were very happy with our purchases, the price we paid (let's just say we got some amazing deals) and our experience. I bought a bracelet from here as a gift. To begin with, the lady with the white hair was cold toward my boyfriend and I - but she did help (reluctantly) when I asked about prices (which it seemed like she made up). Well, I found one I liked better at a different store and went back to try to return the one I'd bought here. Except she never gave me a receipt. She said she could do an exchange if we bought something else, so we did. When we went up to the counter with our new purchase, she started totaling it all up. She then proceeds to say "I have to write this all out to try and explain it to the owner because our two registers are linked" - as in cash/card. Then, she says she can't do the exchange. I was forced to keep this gift that was 1) overpriced and 2) not as good as the other one I found. Let me just say, I work retail. It's all about pleasing your customer and making things work so they leave happy. She did not succeed in making that happen. We spent a lot of money at the shop, and our experience was not so great. The whole shop is overpriced. Don't waste your time. read more

My wife and i vacationed in AZ recently...one of our stops was Sedona...i was looking for some gold and turquoise jewelry which is hard to find. Silver Cloud had one of the better selections in town. Donna was helpful in making a couple of nice selections...earrings and a ring...she gave me a discount for buying the 2 items which was appreciated and i am enjoying them. There are a number of minerals, stones in both pieces and i have called the store and left messages to discuss what they are but have not had my calls returned. I purchased what I thought was a rare buffalo turquoise stone ring here last fall and found it is a fake! I have tried calling and do not get through. The stone fell out of the silver setting and had sawdust shavings being used as a filler underneath the stone. We tried epoxying it back in and it did not set in correctly, so we used a solvent to remove it as would be fine with a real turquoise stone. However this appears to be a plastic fake since the fake stone started to melt! I will be contacting my credit card company to file charges against this store if they do not answer! read more

High prices and cheap products. We went to Sedona from Phoenix with visiting Wyoming friends. I bought a sterling silver barrette with a small turquoise stone that clipped my hair together. 10 hrs later it fell apart into three pieces. Called the store to report what happened and what could be done about it, but unfortunately could only return it, replace it or receive store credit.
