Took the 2:30 pm, as the 11:30 am was fully booked on a Monday last week in June. This was a blessing since the 2:30 was only half full. This made it Ok to hop seats from row to row, or to walk front-to-back of boat (or vice versa). Was a windy day, so the back of the boat was soaked!! Good fun on a hot day!! Dress casually in clothes that can get wet. Some wore bathing suits, and even bikinis! You could move to the front if you prefer less splashing. Saw lots of dolphins and we stopped and viewed them. Service was great, staff extremely friendly. Fun times! read more

Super fun ! The crew was great and entertaining ! ! We got lucky and saw a ton of dolphins including newborn babies ! Awesome experience ! Highly recommend !! We'll be back to do it again next year ! read more

We did this last year and it was a blast. The kids loved it. You're going to get wet as expected since you are on a large speed board on the ocean. It's a can't miss. read more

Silver bullet boat tour was AWESOME!! Had our tour this morning and truly had such a good time we saw so many dolphins up close the music was so fun and upbeat the crew was so attentive and really made our experience that much better I recommend 100% this will be a new tradition and must stop when coming down to wildwood ! Thank you silver bullet ! read more

We had a fun tour today on the silver bullet. They were very nice and accommodating for switching our times to avoid bad weather. If you wish to get soaked sit towards the back half section of the boat and on the sides. We got to get a tour and drive along the coast of wildwood crest, wildwood and past the boardwalk to go sight seeing for dolphins. We saw so many and our captain made sure to follow the dolphins with the boat for all of us to get a good look. There was drinks alcoholic and non for purchase on the boat. After we saw the dolphins the fun part began where he would drive fast and we get soaked. It felt very refreshing! Very friendly staff and crew. I highly recommend this experience read more

Totally worth it!! I was debating between this and the dolphin sunset cruise but even in the 90 degree weather we decided to try a 4:30 trip and it was awesome!!! The boat was super speedy but it didn't feel Hot at that time due to the speed of the boat and the splashing. The staff was incredible and we were glad to be able to get within hours. It was a sweet sweet surprise to see so many dolphins at once in the natural habitat. They were absolutely stunning, peaceful and having a grand time in the own home. My 7 yr old and husband also enjoyed it as much as I did. I absolutely recommend if you have about 2 hrs while in town. read more

I always make it fact to come here when I am visiting wildwood. This was my first time on the Happy hour ride. It was fun with the drinks! Good pricing! Although I did expect to be more splashed. The captain however did go a bit fast at the end on the return back to dock. The earlier times you def get splashed. I recommend sitting on the row behind the captain to get some splashing from the waves. Overall it was fun and would definitely go again. The drinks were great. The captain and Jarvi were informative and the ride was safe. The dolphins were literally next to the boat and the sunset was serene. See you in 2022!! read more

Was a really fun boat ride! Crew was super fun and kind and the captain gave a lot of fun facts about the surrounding area. The ride itself involved stopping for dolphins and going along the Cape May and Wildwood coast. The best part was definitely the end, but you'll have to do the ride yourself to experience it!! read more

Ride was amazing!!!! Great for kids and adults. Seeing the dolphins is a must for when your on vacation in wildwood or in cape may. It's only a 10 minute drive from exit 0 read more

Do it- Fun and very good service. I was on fence due to number of people that the boat holds but it was awesome and the crew is very attentive. read more

Took my daughter and her friend because my daughter loves dolphins. We saw so many pods and the captain did stop every time there was a pod and he would move the boat so everyone got a chance to see. The only complaints were the music was very loud and they did push a lot of merchandise and tried to get you to spend more money. We sat in the front and my daughter was near the railing and got completely soaked. The captain was knowledgeable about the area and gave a lot of information. Aside from the pushing of merchandise and their other trips, I thought it was a bit obnoxious to basically say tips are expected. If I bought a drink or merchandise then you should def tip. Would go again and would do the morning trip because from what I read, that seems to be when you see the most pods of dolphins. read more

The Silver Bullet is a must do boat ride! It's incredibly fun and entertaining! The captain even manages to share interesting knowledge and facts during the ride too. The boat goes fast and you should plan on getting wet, especially if you sit in the back! We saw lots of dolphins on our ride too! They come up close to the boat and play in the waves at the back of the boat. While on the boat you can buy drinks to stay cool too, which we found to be a valuable option. read more

Sooooo much fun! The Silver Bullet is a must do! Captain John and mate were great tour guides. Fun, interactive attraction that I'm so happy we took part in. It was a birthday gift I'll remember forever. We took the 12:00 ride, and couldn't be happier with our experience. Warning: you will get wet...bring a towel read more

We saw like 20 dolphins! The captain was fun. We sat in front to get less wet, but if you sit on the outside you will still get soaked! He goes a little cray cray towards the end though, so you're not sitting on the boat wet and freezing the whole time. The boat goes all the way to the Cape May lighthouse, so it's a bit of a sightseeing tour too. Fun, sightseeing, and dolphins in one! Ohh...and they serve beer for $4! Always an added plus. read more

The Silver Bullet dolphin tour was the best activity my family did on our entire trip. The Captain was super funny and knowledgeable and kept everyone on the boat entertained, and the deckhands were all happy. Music on the boat was excellent and had everyone in a great mood. Tons of dolphins. I definitely recommend taking the silver bullet if you're looking for something fun to do. Wear clothes you don't mind getting wet. read more

Silver Bullet - Captain on deck! - Boating Near Me - Wildwood, New Jersey

This was the HIGHLIGHT of our vacation. We had an incredible amount of fun! We definitely got soaked, but our waitresses and the captain were just incredible. They were fun, and interacted with the passengers. We saw so many dolphins on the ride and he stopped for all of them. Even though we've done this before, we will definitely do it again! read more

Silver Bullet never disappoints!!!! Such a great time for small/large groups. Captain and staff are so kind!!! Saw so many dolphins, perfect day! Thank you for a great trip! read more

The silver bullet is the icing on the cake of my Wildwood vacation. I have been going with friends to Wildwood for eight or more years, and we always end up doing the same things. Beach, boardwalk, Cape May, eat. Don't get me wrong I LOVE everything about it and about Wildwood, but it was time to do some new activities. Last summer I looked up things to do in Wildwood and found the Silver Bullet Speedboat Tour website and was intrigued. It looked like a lot of fun and reviews I had read seemed all positive. I told my friends and they were excited but skeptical. We checked the weather and called the day before to reserve tickets for the 9:30 AM tour. SO GLAD we went!!! First off, there is almost always a discount coupon on the site for 2 or 3 dollars off, print it! Everyone going can use it, definitely a good thing. The tour itself was a lot of fun! The crew is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and dolphins and we were never bored. Pretty much any seat you get on the boat is a good seat as once you get out of the marina and out on the coast after speeding through the summer air the boat slows down to almost a stop so everyone gets to see dolphins. We were able to walk around and snap lots of pictures, even had the dolphins "play with us" by jumping and swimming within the tread of our boat. So neat! On the way back I was a little bummed because I heard you get wet and we had not thus far. I was very wrong! The crew asked us had we ever been on a log flume, because the speedboat was about to become one, and YES it did! The boat lifted so that anyone, including us toward the middle and back of the boat got SOAKED! It wasn't just one splash either it went on for a good 20 seconds, but was totally funny and enjoyable. Good refresher on a hot summer day. Also on the boat they sold cute plushies, as well as refreshments. Recommendations: Make sure you bring your camera in a waterproof case to protect it or else sit toward the front if you don't want to get wet (but trust me, it is fun!). Also, bring sunglasses to somewhat protect your eyes from the saltwater. If you get cold easily or if it is a chilly day, bring a sweatshirt or windbreaker. Don't forget to tip the crew, they deserve it! And last but not least, have fun! read more

I wouldn't go back to the Silver Bullet. Go to the Thunder Cat that is so much better. We went on the silver bullet and not 1 dolphin we saw ( to me this was a boring boat ride. ) Waste of money. They said they had drinks and snacks that was a lie. The thunder cat gets the Dolphins come out and play. read more

I highly recommend going on one of these tours if you are in Wildwood. Sure you can go on a cruise but why not a crazy speed boat ride mixed with dolphin sightseeing? This was my solo excursion on our trip to Wildwood. I was pretty excited. I went on the 4:30pm tour. First you slowly go out through the bay. You get some info on things around the area and you get great views of Cape May & Wildwood. Once you get out where you are allowed to go faster, you speed down the coast which feels amazing. On a hot day, the ocean breeze flying through your hair just can't be beat. Anyone with long hair might want to think about pulling it back just to prevent injury or knots. After flying through the water & seeing the shore, it is pretty much time to wait till someone spots a dolphin. Once a dolphin is spotted, they slow and move as close as possible, pretty much at a complete stop and everyone can run around on the boat to get to see. We found a group of 3 dolphins who we were told looked to be feeding. We all ran around snapping photos and with it being the later ride, there were less people so we had more room to run around on the boat. It was so much fun and I am sure everyone saw the dolphins at least once. After you see the dolphins, you start heading back to shore but wait, there is more. They announce that they are pretty sure some people took the ride intending to get wet! They let people shift seats, especially people with little kids and then they go crazy doing water donuts (as I like to call them). I was in the splash zone and did not realize how bad it would be where I sat. I was soaked and my lips tasted lip salt for hours after LOL I have to say, it was fun and pretty hysterical. We were quite dry by the time we got back to land as it was pretty breezy and hot out. This is great for people of all ages as long as they can handle the fast boat ride and don't mind getting splashed a little. There are supposed to be drier spots on the boat but I was too soaked to notice. I am going to guess that earlier boats see more dolphins from what I have learned about dolphin sightings. Even so, you should see dolphins at some point of the trip. read more

Amazing trip! This was an awesome experience, all the staff make sure you are comfortable by offering drinks and snacks as well as hats, shirts, etc. They also show you packs of dolphins which is awesome. You also get wet on this ride so it's nice when it's hot outside. read more

If I could rate this 20/5 I would, everything was amazing. The captain was funny and really knew what he was doing and the two women serving drinks on the boat were really nice. went on the Silver Bullet with some of my family for my birthday in June. SO MUCH FUN! What else is better? Speed boat...dolphins..and getting SOAKED. The crew knew exactly what to do to get the dolphins to jump in our wake. At the end of the tour is when they open up the engines and just SOAK EVERYBODY. it was great! The crew found out it was my birthday.. at the end of the ride he made an announcement and sang Happy Birthday to me. It was awesome. Worth every penny. read more

OMG so much fun!! Not gonna lie i was never on a boat. No shape or form. So i was nervous a few years back, but you know what? I lived! They start slow.. get a feel, scenic tour around wildwood. Haven't gone in a few years, but, had a ball the last time. Just a word of warning...sit towards the front if you don't want to get soaked.

Was a little scared that it maybe it was too fast but it's a really smooth ride. Max speed is 25 and slightly faster at end when he turns into his wake to create the log flume effect. Saw tons of dolphins and a great view of wildwood crest to the Woods from the Ocean. Fun for the entire family read more

Great crew great price's great catch of the day :)

Had a great time on the Silver Bullet. It's a boat tour from Wildwood Marina to the Atlantic Ocean and back. You roll out into the Ocean, hopefully see a few dolphins (we did), and jet back into the harbor. The boat goes to top-speed on the way back to the Marina after the dolphin watching part of the tour. This part was pretty fun! DO NOT SIT IN THE BACK IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET WET. Because you will. On the slow float back into the marina you will be offered shirts/towels/plush toys to purchase. You will also be told it's customary to tip mates whenever you are on a boat (pretty sure that's BS...if anything the captain should pay his crew a nice wage as it seems the business is raking a pretty penny even on a medirocre day. The ride/tour itself made up for the 10 minute sales pitch at the end, though, for me. One of the best attractions in Wildwood. read more

Best money spent on vacation yet!!! Crew, specifically first mate John was awesome! Very knowledgeable and entertaining! I went on this ride a few years ago with my brothers and we all had a great time. The ride starts out as a slow scenic tour around Wildwood. About half way through they bring you far enough out in the ocean to see dolphins that basically come right up to the boat. Finally, the thrill ride begins and you get soaked. Its a lot of fun! Throughout the ride they sell food, drinks, and souvenirs. read more

This was by far the best boat ride I have ever taken my children loved it!! Captain John and his mates were spectacular . And did we see Dolphins , so many Dolphins there were swimming right next to the boat . Captain John gave a complete 90 min boat ride to empress . Was worth every penny . Thank you silver bullet for a great time read more

For $20 a person, it was worth it. They can fit about 180 people on the boat at one time. If you really want to get wet then sit in the back or at least along the rails. They get you wet towards the end of the ride and very very wet! We saw pretty many dolphins and the driver was good at explaining things about them. There is a bathroom and bar on board. I'd suggest bringing as little as you can because again you and the floor will get wet. I personally put my phone in a plastic bag and then in a small pocketbook. Wear lots of sunscreen, a hat and some sunglasses. The wind makes it a little cool at times but when the boat is sitting, the sun is very hot. Towards the end they offer merchandise such as t-shirts and towels. Your ticket to get in can be used as a discount coupon if you choose to do any of their other water sport activities. If you buy your tickets online you will still have to sign waivers there. My last suggestion is if you have a big party and want to sit all together then make sure you get there early. By the time we got on the boat it was 10 minutes from the time the boat would leave and we weren't able to sit all together. No big deal though. It lasted about 2 hours and we had a great time. Don't forget to tip! We gave $10 each to the hosts. They do a good job of collecting garbage along the way. read more

This is not for the faint of heart. It should not be advertised as a family friendly event or dolphin watch. Not advised for children, unless you have a child that enjoys full sized roller coasters. And we did not see a single dolphin. read more

What a great experience! The whole crew was very nice, fun and accommodating. Definitely fun for all ages. Worth every penny!

Thought this ride would never end. Almost jumped off the boat multiple times just to end it all. Beer being served was a huge draw but the boat goes so fast, by the time you can take a sip without pouring it all over your face, it tastes like flat beer flavored water. Toilet paper was soaking wet so wouldn't recommend a dump down below. read more
