Each day I looked forward to soaking in the wonderful new pools simply for pleasure, not giving a thought to the healing qualities of the water. However, by the end of our second day, I realized that lingering pain from an earlier accident and hip surgery was so much better. The arthritis in my back was practically non existent. Other family members could see a change in my mobility. I was able to extend my stay and my little vacation turned into a period of rehab. Every day I would walk in the water and do my stretches . The minerals in that warm water did wonders for my body and it was so enjoyable and fun. If you are dealing aches and pains or just need a little rejuvenation, this wonderful place is a must-visit. I definitely plan to return.

We brushed the horses, explored the old buildings, and played games in the saloon. There are hiking trails, but we didn't have time for them. The room itself was impeccable. It was furnished with gorgeous antiques. The linens and towels were luxurious. The room was very clean. Kristin made us an amazing breakfast in the morning. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Things I didn't like, No lock on the back door of our 250 a night cabin. not cleaned very well. dirty fridge, Full kitchen with no utensil, dirty bathroom, No air conditionin.( not bad) Smoke detectors were not anywhere to be foun. They say they're rustic. But I think that's their excuse for being rundown. Our cabin was great. Like I said it just needs a good cleaning every checkout. If you come. Bring your cleaning supplies and anything and every thing you'd need to be comfortable. On a good note. Only e the cabin. It had power and running water. Very sound and sturdy! The beds were clean and nice. Comfortabl. The hamburgers were good and local beef. Quiet neighborhood. the pool had a concession stand with drinks. no ice though. The decor was beautiful, food was excellent, there were a plethora of activities for our family of 17 which included children and grandchildren. My favorite activities were sapphire mining and cowboy. The staff was very attentive and always concerned that we had everything we needed. The ranch manager, Will, ran a well managed resort. Our kids/grandkids had never been fly fishing before and they all said they now have a new hobby. Our stay was over July 4th and Will arranged for a cow boy concert around the fire pit which excellent and a great way to end our stay. I highly recommend the resort.

The accommodations were lovely; darling fully furnished cottages with a spectacular clubhouse/ dining area all looked out across a beautiful meadow with Rock Creek bubbling in the background. The service was top notch with every attention to detail handled by Will and his staff. The food was incredible; what a gem Chef Casey is! He's a master at developing flavors and creating beautiful dishes using local meats and fresh vegetables. His potatoes are legendary, and his cobblers are the best I've ever had! The quality of the food and wine are first class. The all inclusive aspect allowed us to try many new things. Fly fishing was fantastic, and our guide, Henry, was very patient with us newbies. His instructions miraculously saw us both catching cutthroat trout. We also did archery (super fun!), horseback riding, and had a ton of fun doing some distance shooting. I was very intimidated, but with fabulous instruction, felt relaxed and really enjoyed it. We enjoyed some hikes and gem mining to round out our time. Highly recommend a getaway to The Meadows.
