My daughter attended winter camp at this facility. It was HORRIBLE! They closed the facility down early knowing bad weather was coming and still had campers comes. My daughter's youth group traveled over 5 hours to get to the camp. The camp did not open until 9pm Friday night. Saturday morning, they announced they would be shutting down due to weather concerns and everyone had to leave before 5pm Saturday. They only offered one group to horseback ride and if they wanted to do that, they would have to miss lunch. They did not have Zipline functioning. They did not offer the services they advertised. My daughter attended 2 Chapel services, and the rest was "free" time. We paid $175 for each child to attend camp. My daughter bought an overpriced $40 t-shirt. The students we not even there 20 hours and almost half of it was sleeping. When Brad was contacted, he said that they would only offer a $25 refund to each student. When I asked to speak to someone else Brad ignored my emails in attempt to resolve the issue. We have been requesting a 50% refund due to the students not attending the camp for over 50% of the time we paid for and for services advertised that were not offered. Horrible camp! I do not recommend wasting your money. Very ungodly business practices. Overpriced and horrible administration. Save your money for a camp that stands by their services offered. read more

If you get the opportunity to send your kids to SBR, you won't regret it! It's our favorite place on the planet. The kids have great fun in a clean, wholesome environment. They'll swim, kayak, paddle board in beautiful Sawyer Lake. They can go horseback riding, zip lining, rafting. They'll go on adventure breakfasts, like kayaking to breakfast cooked over an open fire. You're kids won't be bored, on their phones or hiding away in their bedrooms. They'll learn that they're loved unconditionally by God who wants to know them. Silver Birch Ranch is a fantastic place for church retreats! I love the fall ladies retreat every September. SBR is on beautiful acreage that includes forest and a lake. Horseback riding, trap shooting, zip line, boating and more! The cabins are adorable and a good time is had by all. What a great way to get away from the daily stresses of life! Silver Birch Ranch is such an amazing place. I have been coming to the women's retreat here for the last five years or so and my daughter goes up every summer and winter. I went there in the late 70s. It has only gotten better as the decades have passed. I sent both of my children there starting in 2007 and my son is now on Summer Staff while in college. Most all of my son's strongest friendships to date are the ones he formed at camp. SBR sits right on Sawyer Lake with a fantastic beach. There's rock climbing wall, zip line, white water rafting, horseback riding and more. If you do decide to send your child don't wait, the summer camps fill up quickly. Winter Jam is amazing there too. Every penny spent was well worth the investment in our child's future. Priceless!!
