AND, in addition to paying around $230 4 times a year for seven years.... to do the math... This is spending over $10,000 over 7 years. The location is easy to get to in the Kentlands and I had no trouble finding parking. The salon itself is a good size with a good number of stations and a nice seating area. It was quiet and not busy. I was the only client in there, which was nice. I think that's because it was in the middle of a weekday. I had Kaila and she was so nice from the get go. When I explained that I wanted to chop my hair, she was supportive. She listened to my ideas well and was right on board with my decision. I was so nervous but she put me at ease. She cut my hair dry, then wet, then dry again. She blow-dried it, then she curled it. I have never in my life loved a haircut more than I love this one! It's the perfect length. She took her time, I didn't feel rushed, and I could tell she paid a lot of attention to detail. I went through a rollercoaster of emotions during the cut, ranging from total shock to total excitement, and now I can't stop looking at or touching my new hair. The whole thing came to the very decent price of $45. I'm so happy with my new cut and I feel like a brand new person. I highly recommend Kaila at Alliage for haircuts! It's not cooperating & very uneven looking. Definitely don't want further length cut as the front is way shorter than I asked for. This is my first time seeing her, so I was surprised she made the effort to fit me in, but I was also very relieved. I was worried I'd have to wait a while for her to cut my hair when I arrived since it was a last minute appointment but she was very cognizant of my arrival, greeted me and asked if I could wait another several minutes. I didn't feel ignored at all. My hair is very long and she was amazing at asking questions on my preference and skillfully giving me layers. She has good humor and was super pleasant. My haircut for extra long hair was $54. I really did enjoy the experience and was extra grateful she could fit me in, and I loved my haircut, which was done quicker (and with more quality) than I expected.
