Silva & Associates is a private investigation company located in the Bitterroot Valley, serving all of Montana with a primary focus catering to professional clients located in and around Ravalli County. The firm is owned by Joseph A. Silva who offers over 44 years of investigative experience, 30 years of which were in a law enforcement capacity specializing in fire investigation, home and auto insurance fraud investigation, as well as employment background and internal affairs investigations. We offer both, investigative services, as well as process service. We are licensed with the State of Montana, insured and bonded, and have investigative affiliates serving Northern California.

History

Established in 2020.

Silva & Associates was started in 2020 at the request and encouragement of an attorney I had previously worked with while employed at the Montana, Ravalli County Attorney's Office. Needing an investigator whose work he knew and could trust, he called and asked for my assistance on a case. After completing the assignment, he soon introduced me to another attorney, and the business began to take root, expanding to the many services offered.
