Every storage facility in town was completely full before & when we got here, so we put our names on the list at every storage facility in town. American storage was the only business that called us back. We needed multiple storage units and Lloyd & CJ were diligent working with us so that we could bring all of our things to Siloam. American Storage has a variety of unit sizes. They also have units that are climate controlled. RV, Boat & Trailer storage is also available. PRICING; prices for units are average for this area. SECURITY; American Storage is completely gated with cameras throughout the facility. 24/7 On site, live in management that also patrols facility. There's 1 keyed in & gated entry at management making it secure. SERVICE; Lloyd & CJ are friendly & always have great big smiles for you. This is fine, right up until it isn't…read more Days after Thanksgiving, I discovered that thieves had broken into my interior storage unit. No other unit but mine was broken into, which was weird. The thieves took only a laptop computer and left everything else (which, again, was weird). The real problem then began: the thieves didn't break the lock--they removed the entire apparatus into which any lock could be affixed. This meant that there was no way for me to lock up my unit, and all of my belongings were thus available to anyone and everyone who felt inclined to slide open the unlocked unit. I then called the phone number of Siloams Springs Best Storage. No one answered. I left a message. Hours went by and no one called me back, so I called again and left another message. By Monday morning, I still never heard back. I then emailed the owner. I finally got a cold response via email, which merely said they had "contacted the maintenance team" and they would "reach out" when the unit had been repaired. A week passed. No communication, no response, and no new locking apparatus on my unit. All of my belongings still just sitting there for anyone who wanted them. I called the owner again. No response. I emailed the owner again, stating that no repairs had occurred. This was their response: " I have found the previous email chain. The maintenance team was made aware this 11/25. We will reach out when it has been repaired." Clearly I was a nuisance to them. Finally, they did something: they charged my credit card for the month of December despite my unit STILL not having a sliding apparatus for a lock. Weeks passed. Nothing. The only communication I received from them was a friendly reminder that they would be charging my credit again for January. Finally, I moved all of my belongings to a different storage site. I had to spend two different days moving all of my stuff, which included having to hire someone to help me and renting a truck. And I had to do all of this around Christmas, which, believe it or not, is not how I had hoped to spend my holidays. After vacating the premises, I sent them an email informing them of their breath-taking incompetence and total disinterest in doing anything but charging my credit card. They "apologized" and blamed "the maintenance team" for not having fixed the unit despite their requests. This was my experience with Siloams Springs "Best" storage. You are free to do what you will, but you might think twice unless you want to spend money and time moving your belongings in the rain during the holidays. F-.
