We have hired Silly Celebrations for numerous events. The kids always love the ballon designs, face painting and glitter tattoos!

If anyone is is looking to book face painters and balloon twisting, please avoid at all cost, Silly Celebrations. Bobbie is very unprofessional and spoke rudely to children and questioned tattoos that were selected. Don't make the same mistake I made. I called her to tell her how she made myself and parents feel and she refused to give me a partial refund when I requested. I told her that I would review her, and she said "It's ok, most people don't review anyways." Bobbie, Your posts basically speak for themselves. This is the unprofessionalism that we had to deal with. The reason we called you 4 hours later is because the party wasn't even over when you left, and I didn't want to make my guests feel more uncomfortable than they already were. There is no reasoning with you, and we never received an apology, only excuses here on Yelp. Another thing, about a small turnout, my son turned 1! Like I said, keep the money, that's not the issue. I've hired several balloon artists over the years and worked with Bobbi from Silly Celebrations for the past 3 years on several kids parties I've thrown. She is the only balloon artist/face painter I will ever hire again! Her designs and balloons are so creative and current which is huge for kids. No one wants the overdone balloons anymore. The kids love all the options she has and the large guns and princesses. Bobbi is professional and takes time to make sure she gets to everyone. Every party I've had with her has been a huge success. The service was very unprofessional. She came in about 15 minute late. She was also very rude to my guest and I! After talking to some of the guest who attended the party, several of them told me she was not very polite. She did not even tell the children she could do glitter tattoos, I saw no one with them.Her face paintings were nice, however the way she went about giving customer service was horrible. read more

I'm going to spend the money on a professional next time. Couldn't scrub the crap off the kids' faces and their faces hurt! Not worth it.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! This lady should not be working with children. She was so unpleasant and so snappy from the second she arrived that everyone at my sons party felt uncomfortable around her. The only time she was even half way decent was when she was leaving and collecting her payment. It was my sons birthday and he got the crappiest face-painting out of everyone and didn't even get a balloon. The only thing she seemed to know how to make was a "light saber" and god forbid anyone call it a sword or you would get your head bit off. She was late and did not apologize, only complained about how far the party was (inside loop 410) and then complained that the party was outdoors (it was a very nice day). All in all, this was a very disappointing experience. Things were pretty organized for a kids party and the expectation was very low. There were not many kids and they weren't asking for anything crazy and her attitude was kind of unreal. I obviously would not recommend this person for any kind of kids birthday party or event. Maybe she does better at HOA events and listed here or maybe she just had an off day but money is money and that was a big waste of my money and 2 hours. I would have paid twice as much for a person with a decent attitude. And as a side note, I was informed by one of my guests today that a little girl who was at the party unfortunately suffers from epilepsy, this little girl was getting her face painted and could not stop blinking during the process. The lady (Bobbi) apparently got frustrated with the little girl and was pretty nasty and even laughed at her. I guess this can be forgiven by way of sheer ignorance, but how unprofessional. read more
