I rang on behalf of my mum......she was having extremely bad head aches & cramping behind her ear. She was told many, many years ago that she needed longer teeth to support her muscles in her face & head. Her current GP couldn't find a cause for her pain, so we decided to give Silkstone Denture Clinic a call. David was attentive & offered a free consultation to discuss her woes!!! From that first meeting David & his wife Thi were very respectful & understanding of mum's problem. David took measurements etc & did a "make do fix up" on mum's lower denture. To help ease her pain while he made her a new full set of dentures. As time passed Mum's head aches got better....after a few easy visits, just weeks later, Mum now has a lovely natural smile & all those debilitating head aches are gone.. I rang with a genuine enquiry as I heard his clinic being advertised on radio and need to have several natural teeth replaced. I haven't worn any type of denture before and wanted to know about his service and what he could offer. Initially, he was good enough to address a couple but not all the queries I had and after few minutes said he was busy and had to go. This was fair enough as I had phoned without an appointment. I had absolutely no issue with that at all. It was then that I asked him if I may call back at a later time to discuss those further queries, to which he replied, "I've already given you five minutes and I have two customers waiting". His manner wasn't particularly unpleasant but it felt like I was being just "nuisance" call. The two stars rating is for his general dismissiveness not his overall general expertise. Therefore, as far as the latter goes, I'm unable to comment as I won't be a potential client of his in the future. read more
