I'm really shocked in reading the negative reviews. I know…read morethe gal they have now (Lori Burris, FNP) is fairly new, and I THINK SHE'S AWESOME. I spend the winters in Wellton and I started having this weird issue that has been going since July 2021. I've been to multiple doctors in my home state, from a Cardiologist, 3 regular doctors, a GI Doctor and a Dermatologist. Lori spent 45 minutes with me and order every test she could think of. This gal is really doing her best to help solve my problem. I DID NOT take the Covid shot, so it's not any side effects from that. I have to tell you, my husband and I were very impressed with her and with her really wanting to solve my problem. One thing I do have to agree with the negative reviews is, THE OTHER GIRLS IN THE OFFICE ARE EXTREMELY RUDE. They act like they couldn't be bothered and how darn you need anything from them. I've noticed that this is the mindset of these people down in Yuma and Wellton, Arizona. When you think you're calling the Wellton doctors office, you're actually calling the mainline in Yuma..

My wife fell and badly injured her knee. She was in a great deal of pain and I thought it might be…read morebetter to have her seen as soon as possible so rather than drive to Yuma I called Sunset Health and explained what had happened, that that she was in a great deal of pain and her knee had swollen to the size of an orange and was still swelling. I asked if they could see her for something like that and was assured that they could. I was then told that they couldn't "look" at her injury until tomorrow morning and that because they're not actually "seeing" patients in the clinic that the "visit" would be a teleconference. I was flabbergasted! I would have asked for the name of the lady I spoke to but she hung up on me when I said, "You can't think the appropriate treatment for an injury this severe is a phone call." I now know people say it's worth the drive for medical care and in the future my family certainly will.
