Jake, Tyler and the rest of the crew did an absolute fantastic job on our project. Even though it was just a small front parking area in front of house they were clean, professional, and very affordable!! I would highly recommend Sikes to anyone looking for asphalt work! read more

We've just completed our second experience with Sikes. The first was a complete repaving of our private road three years ago; they recently returned to reseal the road. On both jobs they were a great crew to work with - friendly, helpful, and accommodating - and the quality of the work is outstanding. We would recommend them without hesitation. read more

Sikes Asphalt just completed paving and sealing my long steep driveway. He did an excellent job. His pricing was fair, he is easy to communicate with, friendly and careful crew and respectful of timing. Would absolutely recommend him for any paving job. read more

Sikes came out to seal coat our road after doing a great re-paving job 3 years ago. They were very efficient and the road looks great. They were the only contractor who offered to use a product that dried quickly, making the road accessible faster. The crew was friendly and really helpful. Another great experience. read more

We contacted Sikes Asphalt to re-do a large parking lot at our Church in Santa Rosa. Sikes had the best price of 4 estimates, did fantastic work applying 2 coats of seal and re-striping our Parking lot. Jake cares about his community and was great to work with. He took care of all of the special details that I requested and Kerry was just great in the front Office handling administration. Highly Recommended! President UDV Congregation. read more

It was an excellent experience working with the Sikes Asphalt group. The entire process from initial estimate to completion of project took about two weeks. Jake and his entire crew were professional and skilled at their job. They make sure you are satisfied with the end result before they depart. I just felt I should update my review as it's been over nine years. Looking back, I am raising my rating to five stars. Over the last nine years, our Homeowners Association has worked with so many vendors and have experienced all kinds of headaches (I do appreciate it's not easy working with an HOA, but we always work in good faith and uphold our end of things). In any event, Sikes Asphalt was a pleasure to work with...the only reason I gave an original four stars is that the job got pushed back a week as an employee went on vacation...I was a bit naive back then and that didn't have anything to do with the actual job of repaving our parking lot. I am still happy with the work as it's held up nicely! - even in this Novato heat! :) read more

Don't bother with this company. They came out and measured our site and said they would send a quote. After 4 phone calls with voicemail left and 2 follow up emails they don't respond. Just say you're busy and can't take the job don't leave people hanging, super weird business model.... Terrible service go elsewhere. read more

Jake Sikes has been caring for our 1800 feet of asphalt driveway here in Mark West for the last 20 years. It was time for some repair and sealcoating and as usual Jake went above and beyond. He met with our 4 neighborhood families, walked the road and discussed options. One of the things I love about Jake is his honesty. He laid it out; you could do nothing - your driveway is NOT about to fail. You could repave the whole thing, and here is a price. You might consider a few fixes which will be affordable and will prolong the life of the drive. But you really should fix a drainage issue with an asphalt and rip-wrap swale - and let's do that at a bargain price. We ended up with the repair, crack seal and seal coat. Done in two days and looks GREAT! Thanks Jake and crew! read more

Our community of 122 condominiums has been using Sikes Asphalt for many years. Jake Sikes is reliable and his crew does an excellent job of both seal coating and the more serious road repair and paving we required after the Tubbs fire reconstruction work cause significant damage to our roadway. The work is done timely, fairly priced, and Jake and his crew are total professionals. As President of our Condo Association, I can't recommend them more highly. read more

Wow! what a great company to work with! These guys have been so professional, courteous, detailed and skilled at what they do! The crew is still here ( after an 8 hr. day) making sure to follow Jake's final walk- through instructions so everything is perfect and up to Jakes standards! Holly cow! can't say enough about the great work and Jake's top quality standards! Thanks Sikes Company! Hank & Denice read more

Sikes Asphalt Group came out today in Santa Rosa and paved our family's large driveway. From the start of our conversation 2 weeks ago to completion of the project, the Sikes team made our project effortless. Knowledgable staff and friendly professional service. Jake was a pleasure to work with. The paving was top notch, as promised and quoted (I know as I am in the asphalt business) and came out beautiful far exceeding our expectations. These guys showed up with the right equipment and plenty of staff who worked their butts off! I am very impressed across the board and the pictures below speak for themselves. After a monster sized olive oil spill on our driveway (which was already overdue for some attention), I called Sikes Asphalt and Jake came by the house to have a look. It was just the kind of visit you hope for from a contractor - expert advice, a few options, not trying to up-sell you; just genuinely trying to help get things fixed up. They were able to quickly schedule a new seal coat for the driveway, which included cleaning up the oil and other stains. Wow, does it look sharp! And for what I thought was a very reasonable price. A huge thank you to Jake and the Sikes team. Top marks, highly recommended! read more

We chose Sikes over two other vendors for our common road shared by seven homeowners and we're glad we did. Not only did Sikes offer competitive prices, they provided the best recommendations and quality of work. We needed a lot of direction given multiple areas needing repair like asphalt overlay, shoulder backing, culvert installation, etc. They didn't try to upsell us--just told us the truth about what would best fit our needs. Importantly, ALL of the crew members were very, very nice and helpful--we received this feedback from all of the neighbors. read more

Jake and his crew did a phenomenal job for us. From the beginning of the project which involved tearing out old asphalt to the actual day of paving, I have nothing but great things to say about Sikes. They were professional, did very clean work and delivered on what they promised. I highly recommend Sikes Asphalt to anyone needing a new driveway or parking lot. Great communication throughout the process and the final product is fantastic! read more

This past week we had Sikes Asphalt took out our old driveway, regraded and repaved our 2500 sq. ft. driveway. It is beautiful now but the best part was the professionalism from absolutely everyone in this company. The owner, the scheduler, the office staff and all the workers who worked so hard and did a great job. We were nervous about having the job done right because our house sits lower than the street so it was imperative that the drainage was done correctly and it was! When they left the job site everything was clean and tidy. All of the workers who came to my home were respectful and courteous and when you pair that with an excellent product, you have a very happy customer - and we are! read more

Jake and his wife were a pleasure to deal with. They were very professional from the beginning to the end, which is hard to come by these days. Jake was a pleasure to work with and his crew was hardworking, fast and efficient. They were all incredibly considerate, and professional and they did a fabulous job. Unfortunately Sikes Asphalt does not follow through with their jobs, so I am forced to give a one star review. My business planned for our parking lot to be redone, made all the necessary arrangements and were canceled on at the last minute because another job had taken priority. When we finally got a call back we were met with a dismissive and rude attitude- the last thing you want to hear when paying thousands of dollars for a job. I do not recommend this business. read more

Sikes just completed a large residential road/driveway project for us. Color me impressed! They were super responsive from the first call to executing the project. The price was fair (not the cheapest) but I really appreciated the transparency and honesty during the negotiation. The work was done quickly and the initial quality of the work is superb. The large and highly experienced crew coupled with the updated equipment clearly helped to deliver this rare combination of speed and quality. Jake (the owner)was also personally engaged and onsite which gave me a lot of comfort and confidence. I've worked with a lot of local trades and companies during our extensive construction project and I can say without exaggeration that Sikes stands out. If you are looking for high integrity people who know their craft look no further! read more

We got 4 quotes. They tied for cheapest, and had the best customer service. Calling and emailing to make sure all our questions were answered. Scheduling was easy. Someone came by the day before to talk again about the plan. They day of they showed up on time, with the owner! They did extra for us, beyond what they had bid out, and gave recommendations on what we could do on our own drainage wise to save money. It was a pretty small job, but they never made us feel that way. They clearly not only do a good job but know how to treat a customer. I would highly recommend using this company! Did i mention they have a 3 year guarantee???? read more

Jake Sikes and his crew did an AMAZING job of paving our extremely damaged road. He was very polite and he was a pleasure to deal with during the entire process. A year ago Sikes Aslhalt redid our shared driveway. It was in very poor condition after years of neglect, invading roots, and harsh weather. Working with Jake and his crew went very smoothly. All the neighbors who share the drive were happy with the bid, preparation of the site and the final outcome - a beautiful new approach to all our homes. Then came this years atmospheric river and pounding rains. Unfortunately the vineyard behind all our properties had a breach in their drainage system and the result was that all of us downstream got hit with an enormous amount of water. Our usually adequate culverts were overwhelmed and either side of the drive was compromised. Contacted Sikes and an estimator was there within a week and we were accommodated with a scheduling date within 2 weeks. Super fast considering how backed up most folks are nowadays. The rains are starting again next week and we are fully prepared. Ray R - Vanguard Properties read more

Jake and his team did an amazing job repaving my driveway and the price was very good. It was just done and looks great. I could not believe all the heavy equipment and the number of guys involved! Wow! Only thing is the sides are a little wobbly, but Jake said they will come back to cut away the edge and put in a border. This part will be done when the weather turns. I appreciated that he called out the need to cut the edge straight without me saying anything. read more

Jake Sikes, and his crew did the original asphalt work on my road about 22 years ago. It has held up incredibly well. I had them back to patch and seal coat this week. They are simply the best. Heed caution using Sikes asphalt. Sikes does not install asphalt according to their written quote. They will quote you 4" thick asphalt (with two 2" lifts of asphalt) but will actually only give you one 2" lift when they are laying it with the paver. Also, they won't address any issues with the base layer. Base rock is what supports your asphalt. They will pave over unsupported base rock. I guess if you want your job to look like lipstick on a pig, by all means, use Sikes. They aren't the cheapest either for their lack of professionalism.... pretty much on par with the gypsy pavers that go door to door with left over asphalt. read more

Sikes asphalt resurfaced, repaired/patched and re-stripped my salon parking lot last year. I am very pleased with how fast the crew was able to get the job done.
