I wish I could give no stars. $90 a month, and always there are problems. There are frequent schedule changes, which means we have to modify our own routine or get missed altogether. *UPDATED* I was refunded for the missed service and the owner called me. I am hopeful that the issues below will not continue. Original message: We have paid for trash AND recycling services. Every 2 weeks, we have a separate pick up with a separate recycling bin and there are supposed to be 2 trucks to pick up the trash and recycling. On at least 3 documented occasions within the past 6 months (the last 2 being today and 2 weeks ago on 10/25/23), only one truck has been sent to pick up both the trash and recycling. I called and spoke to the company and their dispatcher 2 weeks ago when this happened. They admitted fault and offered a credit to me and to my neighbors and promised that it would be taken care of. Apparently it hasn't as only one truck came again today to pick up both trash and recycling! I've also contacted the York County waste management service to alert them. I recycle because I want to try to do my part to eliminate waste in the landfills. This needs to stop and people within the organization that are responsible should be held accountable. read more

Awful customer service, no call backs or responses to emails. My trash was not picked up on schedule day no reason or explanation given. I've called and left voice messages and emailed. I'm beyond frustrated they are the only trash service available in my area. Awful! read more

I've put recycling out every other week the night before for years, always paid my bill on time. Now all of the sudden, they just stopped picking up my recycling a month and a half ago. I've tried repeatedly contacting them yet I get no response or even an acknowledgment. I tried looking at "Past Requests" on their website but the link doesn't work at all. Don't waste your time with this company. They clearly can not care less. read more

As experienced by others, I made payments on time and their website was a mess and did not update my account. The payment website might have been compromised. They stopped my services without any notifications. They want to charge me for the periods they did not pick up. They are saying their notifications went to my junk folder. They did not have the courtesy to send a snail mail warning me stop of service. They increased the rate over 50% in the last few years. Very bad customer service. Switching to D&D listening to the previous reviewer. I wish there was a zero star. I will report them to BBB. If your website have issues and doesn't post payments, please do not send email to junk folders (assuming you did). I never signed up for E-bill or opted for email communication. You got my email address from the Ahuskey website (now defunct) when I paid bill online. Please have the courtesy to call or send a postal mail or tag a notice on trash cart. Please do not charge for the periods you did not provide service for your faults. Last year they mixed recycling with the household waste even after charging extra for recycling. They are awesome! I love signature waste! They come every Friday like clock work and get our trash and recycling for us. Without them I would be making trip after trip to the dump to take off our trash. Anytime I have a question or problem the ladies in the office are so nice and friendly and helpful. I was skipped two weeks in a row. I thought the first week could have been a mistake. After the second week, I realized something was wrong. My trash is now over flowing. I called to speak with someone about getting the trash picked up and was told that it would be an extra charge. I'm sorry? I'm being charged extra because you skipped me two weeks in a row? I was then told that I had 24 hours to call in that I was skipped. I didn't do that so I have to pay extra. She went on to explain the route the driver takes when they enter my neighborhood and explained that they just skipped right over my house "due to the neighborhood route". Sorry but that sounds like a you problem not a me problem. Long story somewhat short, they have been fired from my service and I have already signed up with a different company. Guess it is sort of odd to review a waste collection service, but, hey lots of new homeowners need to find a waste company when moving to a new location, right? I am quite happy a year in with Signature. A few highlights why: * Signature provides you with two high quality, oversized, rolling containers. One for trash, one for recycling. Most companies issue just on ok container, and maybe a small recycling box if you are lucky. * My kids are supposed to put out the containers. Kids forget, and sometimes I (as backup) forget too. I have called Signature a couple times after watching the truck roll by my house. The dispatch and driver were super cool about swinging by again as long as the driver was still in my neighborhood. First class. * I live in a neighborhood dense with little ones playing football outside, riding scooters/bikes/skateboards, etc. The drivers for Signature are very responsible drivers. I have never seen them behave like some of the other services who drive the truck like they stole it. (Watching a heavy truck do 15mph in excess on my street today was the catalyst for this post... Wanted to give credit for commercial drivers doing the right thing.) * Signature is really, really good around Federal holidays. They rarely have to move your pickup day. * Signature has the robot arm on the truck to pick up cans, which is pretty cool in my book. There is one downside though to Signature. They pickup recycling every two weeks, and the day differs from your trash day. The large container makes this ok, but, it sucks if you forget to put it out and have to go 4 weeks for recycling. read more

Imagine having your trash get skipped on trash day multiple times and the managers's explanation is "we have footage of someone picking up your trash" As is I'm making it up. Something seems very broken with their system. If you're a busy person don't waste your time with their service. Personally, I don't have time to call and play inspector gadget for something that should be a simple concept. (I pay quarterly, and you pick up my trash. Simple ) My trash bins are in the same place every week! To their credit they did give me a full refund without hassle. But wait...they only recycle cardboard .. so if you use plastic and/or glass definitely don't use them. Your trash will fill quickly and it's a great chance you'll get skipped every so often with no real explanation. One more thing lol... one week I got skipped and they sent a guy to "pull bags" (their exact words) from my bin. And the guy ripped a trash bag and literally left my bin half full of LOOSE trash. Again to their credit they brought me a new bin.. but once again... If you rather not waste time calling them to figure out where things went wrong on their end go with another company. read more

Terrible customer service. They did not pick up the bin on Tuesday, 21, the regular service day. I called that day, but they don't answer after 4PM. Called Wed. 22. Left message, no answer. Called Thursday, left message, no answer. Sent an email asking if there was a problem. Sent second email same day saying if there was a problem with billing, let me know. I've gotten no bills at all. I emailed on Wednesday after they left the bin, no response. Received email on Thursday that said invoice would come in separate email. It came today on Friday. The bin is still there. The bill say $33 is due. It was still out front of my house today full of reeking garbage. I called again. She said the bill is overdue. What? I haven't gotten a bill? It's a quarterly charge. I fired them. I If they don't pick up the bin on the regular day next week, I'm having a different company throw the whole thing away. read more
