Signature Property Management is a disaster. Incapable of communication and when they do actually communicate it is snide and arrogant. One would think that, as new managers of a community, they would want to at least TRY to make a favorable impression-they could care less. This was sent a week with pictures for the fourth time. They are horrible!!!! We have made numerous request to get our driveway fixed where the sprinkler head busted and the driveway is now sunken in. Last night, a dead tree broke and fell on the house if you could get someone to come clean it up. I have attached numerous pictures of the issue with the driveway. If someone could please respond this will be the last request you will receive from us directly. We have also made numerous attempts to find out what it is that the HOA covers and what we are responsible for. Who do we need to see to get this information? read more

Terrible customer service. Avoid this place. Called first to make sure they would be in and that I had everything needed to get my house cleaners an access sticker for their vehicle. I took off work to make sure It would go smoothly. She even said he could come alone (since he doesn't speak English I went with him). I fill out the paper then they said I have to have a personal check?! On the phone they said nothing about having to have a check. Who carries checkbooks these days? They wouldn't take cash or debit card.. didn't say word one about this when I called this morning. I will be writing to HOA , this isn't the first time either. The gate fiasco in the neighborhood is a racket. Every review is negative except the one from an employee(and this is her only review)??Maybe they should start treating customers as well as their employees. read more

I attended every meeting and listen / watch SPM bully our Board. I do not put all the blame on SPM but I have heard several other communities complain about the same things. Poor accounting practices, instigating drama in the community and not holding vendors accountable for poor performance. All that being said, if Board members allow all of this shame on them. I have had countless neighbors as well as strangers in other communities all complain about the same problems. Money is tight for most people these days so it's especially difficult when you KNOW money is being wasted. read more

TLDR: Avoid at all costs. If you for whatever reason want to live in an HOA and see that you have to have an interaction with Signature Property Management look elsewhere. Having to deal with KATHY OLSON who has zero customer service etiquette is just the tip of the iceberg and should of been a red flag as to what the rest of their company is like. 3 unpleasant interactions with Kathy was more than enough to request to speak to her supervisor. Unfortunately this led to an interaction I will never forget. Having the extremely unpleasant experience of having to talk to someone who calls themself a professional was more like speaking to a screaming banshee. SCOTT MONTAGNA screamed and yelled acting as if he was speaking down to a child. There was zero conversation to be had with him as he showed his companies true colors. DO NOT deal with nor tolerate this unprofessional company. I will be sure to let all my military brothers and sisters aware of this unpleasant company and I highly I suggest you stay very far away. read more

We are lucky to have Scott as our property manager. Scott is well versed in FL Statute 720, and understands the rules and regulations of an HOA. Scott and Signature staff are always responsive and professional. When people move into an HOA and don't even read, or attempt to understand the HOA documents and bylaws, it is easy to blame others for your own lack of self education . Every HOA I've lived in makes you sign a statement at closing that you've read and understand the HOA docs and rules. It is your own fault if you don't. read more

This property management company is out of control. They send inaccurate violation letters and/or violation letters for the most ridiculous issues. We received a violation letter stating our garbage cans were not put away out of site. This has NEVER happened. Our garbage cans are stored in the garage, put out on pick-up day and brought in when we get home from work in the evening. Always. Our neighbors, who are moving and have a For Sale sign in their front yard received a violation for having their large trash pick-up items too long at the curb. That may have been the case but it should be obvious to any intelligent person that these people are trying to sell their house, did a clean up, and the items would be removed in a day or two. They did this to another family as well. Sometimes there are extenuating circumstances and allowances should be made. I mean come on. This is a real world we live in. I fully intend to register a complaint to our board. read more

SPM is ripping homeowners off!!! They are using the auto withdrawal to keep they excess moneys that they withdrawal and are not refunding it. Lake Tuscany homeowner beware! This is out right theft! They ended up receiving more HOA money than necessary directly from my checking account when I sold my home, and have not refunded it yet!!!! It is rightfully and lawfully my money for which I have been demanding over a dozen times. When my home was sold, the automatic withdrawn was not stopped. We have HUDs that prove when I was no longer the homeowner! A verbal refund request has been made to SPM over a dozen times and no refund yet.... Then I bet they were hoping that we forget about it! Or they may be waiting for the statute of limitations to run out. Even better! They always had the same response.... you will get it next month and next month and next month. The worst property management company I have ever had to deal with...The good thing is that they tell you that your telephone conversation may be recorded for training purposes. But of course, when you express your dissatisfaction, nothing happens. They won't return your phone call, or reply to your emails. A complete waste of time! read more

The other review on here for these people is spot on! I have never encountered ruder people in my life. They treat you with the most condescending tone and act as if answering your questions, whether via email or telephone, is a huge favor to you. We submitted our application in early October, and then received a notice that we were being denied in mid December. One week before we were set to move into the property. On top of that they charged me and my wife over $300 for an application fee which they ended up denying. There was an error on my background check which I ran around like a chicken with its head cut off getting the paperwork to prove that the error was indeed incorrect. They discounted this proof, even though I had a certified letter from the clerk of court showing that this information was indeed incorrect. The next day we found a place who charged a total of $100 for the Application fee and were a pleasure to work with. If you see that these people manage the property you were looking at you should run, not walk, away as quickly as possible. We consider it a blessing in disguise that we got turned down from this and all they were able to steal from us was $350. Again I cannot stress enough how horrible these people treated me and my nine month pregnant wife. read more

If you have a problem you have to put it in writing for them to act on when they want if they do even act on your request! They actually hang up on you when they don't hear what they want!
