I also thought that a year later, maybe Gannett finally got to you and improved your customer service. Wrong! My wife called, as stated on the offer, I received in the mail to start the subscription with the offer. Your "customer service" could not put the order in with that rate. Really? And whats more frustrating is that she made no offer to get the problem resolved and to callback when it was rsolved. She just let another customer fade away. With your subscriber base shrinking, I would think that your goal to get, and keep, every single subscriber would be priority. With my 30 year newspaper career, the first 19 years with Gannett, I find this very frustrating. And frankly quite surprised, that Gannett hasn't forced you to improve your poor customer service history. I understand why the community refers to the Stuart News as the "Stupid News".

We are now chatting about my project and in the middle of our discussion starts talking to her graphic design ?? Person about a customer she sees pulling up in the parking lot. She literally leaves me standing at the counter and without a word starts talking and helping the customer who now just walked in the door. I couldn't believe it- she left me hanging there... So, I politely say, I think I'll come back when you're less busy versus what I could've said...WTF??!!?? The lady says something like- this is how it always is. So, it's always a rude, non attentive, disorganized clusterfudge?? What a waste of my time. Definitely not a good fit for me.

Joy came thru for me; She put a rush on it & made sure it was done before Christmas even after I changed my mind about what exactly I wanted printed on the photos. The two enlargements came out much better than I expected from an old photo & the cost was very reasonable. I was very happy with the results!
