Amazing experience...because of the people!…read more I took my 8 and 9 year old on this excursion and we all had a blast. It's safe, fun, and accessible for all. There are activities and places to play or simply kick-back...and of course the excitement of sailing through the trees! We arrived early and enjoyed a picnic lunch, a hammock and game of bags before our tour began. The three lines escalate in terms of adventure, but this experience is more than Ziplines if you are interested in caring for our planet. This truly is an eco-park. Shannon and Kevin have worked to create an experience that has minimal environmental impact and are working on innovative new ways to support native habitats and conserve natural resources. The Eco-Loo is my favorite. No smelly park latrines here. This innovative restroom is completely environmentally friendly and pleasant. It's made from reused and sustainable materials, includes passive solar and rain capture and it smells better (and is decorated better) than most flush restrooms!! Your job is simply to scoop in some wood chips after you do your business. Shannon and Kevin are super and real. I highly recommend this experience for anyone traveling in the Lake of the Ozarks area.

The idea of a rage room is so fun, but The Rage Room in Springfield was a disappointment and not…read moreworth the money AT ALL. I visited for a "Date Night" with a friend. For the 15-minute package, the total cost was about $90. We booked online after visiting in-person and were told that reservations must be made online in advance to allow for room setup. Upon arriving for our reservation, we completed liability waivers and then suited up with coveralls, gloves and visors. We then were each able to grab one "weapon," such as a hammer, crowbar or baseball bat. We were then shown in the room and given our 15 minutes. Though the website indicates how many items will be available to break per package, the room was widely underwhelming. It was small, dimly light and felt dingy. The items we had to break were mostly empty alcohol bottles and glassware. There were a few TVs lined up on one wall, but the screens were already smashed out, so there wasn't really anything to do with them. I cannot imagine doing this for more than 15 minutes. We managed to break everything, while taking our time to have fun, in less than that. The work staff was nice, but I have a feeling they were understaffed as there was only one employee. The entire atmosphere of the business felt dark, unfinished and just unsafe. It felt like a rage room set up in your friend's uncle's garage or something, not a business you'd give nearly $100 to. There is also ax throwing available but there are plenty of other, nicer ax throwing businesses in Springfield. Overall, I would not visit again or recommend. Save your money. Break some bottles in your backyard, if you really need to.

Overall a great time. But not until we were in the room did we learn our session was only 20…read moreminutes long. WOW that was a blink of time and not much to smash for the price we paid. We wore our own shoes, yet I would recommend wearing the ones they offer. Despite using the shoe brush, I found 2 pieces of glass stuck in the bottom of my running shoes and a shard of glass in my socks.
